  1. Sorry, don't know for sure about its contents, but glazes typically have a combo of waxes, solvents and oils. You allude to it, but as a general rule, the most durable product should be the base. In this case, that's the PS...and it should be applied to bare paint. So my recommendation is sealant first, then BG.
  2. Don't assume just because it's 45' outside your driveway can't become an ice rink when it's in the shade. Semi-frozen W&W is really slippery.
  3. Washed my daily. Oh, and found out Adam's W&W + an apparently-just-cold-enough-to-freeze-it driveway = A Tribute to The Black Knight. Busted my ×$$ and took a nice little chunk out of my elbow.
  4. Thanks, all! Yes, they seemed really happy. I've never cleaned a red car, and layering HGG, BW and BG felt like cheating. Best compliment the owner gave was, "It looks better than the day we bought it!" Mission accomplished! Also had a neighbor express serious interest in me detailing her car(s), so I may be on to something... Oz...took me about half a day. About half and half interior and exterior. PS. Forgot, I also used the Grey Plush towels and Red Hex Grip Applicator.
  5. All boxed up and ready to send my way! Lenore's Mystery Box!!
  6. Last weekend, I took my first swing at doing a car I don't make the payments on . They only wanted a "wash & wax" and interior cleaning, so no paint correction this time around. Overall, the car was in pretty decent shape to start, but some Adam's love proved to take it to the next level. Products used: Red CS (to get the crud off) HGG (to add a base sealant and shine) BW (to add another layer or protection and shine) BG (to show off! and for interior windshield) APC (for wheels, tail pipes, floormats and trunk liner) WC (for deep cleaning the wheels) TRC (for tires) TS (added two coats because the customer wanted them extra shiny!) UCS (make the front fender liners disappear; rears were carpeted so didn't use it there) VRT (for all trim) RW 16:1 to make WW-like solution (door jams) ID (over all interior surfaces to make the inside look great) LIC (extra cleaning power for some interior surfaces) GC (clean glass!) DS (nav screen and instrument cluster) LC (to treat the interior and add some nice fragrance) CUC (spot cleaning where necessary) ON (added fragrance) Wash Pad Fender Brush Tire Brush Wheel Woolie Cockpit Brush Interior Red Foam Applicator Foam Block Grey MF Pads DSTs GC Towels Sidekick Lots of elbow grease Before shots: During shots: And now for the SHINE! Hero Shots! The shiniest picture was also the largest file. Coincidence?! I think NOT! (and yes, I later cleaned the small mud flap by the rear tire and applied TS to where the tires were missed )...
  7. APC+CS or SW will work, but I'd recommend the SW. Works like a champ and suds really well. In the end, I think you'll use less SW than APC+CS for that many vehicles, and it's only one product vs. 2...but I guess mileage will vary. Also, I won't make too many friends on here by saying this, but blue Dawn liquid soap is also an option. I know, some will say it dries trim, and Dan (TheWolf) explains it well in the linked thread above about lack of polymers, but with limited use, I haven't seen any adverse effects on my car and it does work.
  8. You bet. I'm guessing it's preferrd to have the thin side down to decrease the chance of streaks vs. a performance (absorption) issue.
  9. Gonna have to repectfully disagre with Shane...the thin side should face the surface. I know it works both ways, but direct from Adam's product website, "Carefully fold the towel in half or in quarters with the thin side facing the surface." It's demoed the same way in the video. Enjoy it. It's an AWESOME towel!
  10. First, welcome! Second, I agree with both Joe and Shane above...go with the known knowns and just buy those. Doubt you'll find someone on here willing to part with either for such a deal unless they are trying to get out of the Adam's addiction!
  11. Welcome! The addiction has only just begun. Consider yourself warned!
  12. Don't accidentally (or purposefully) drip Glass Sealant on your hex grip applicator and think it won't matter of you don't clean it out. It will.
  13. Welcome to the addiction, Steve-o!
  14. Read this (yesterday): http://www.thedenverchannel.com/news/local-news/in-n-out-burger-planning-first-colorado-location-in-colorado-springs Did this (yesterday and today): Then read (today): https://www.foodbeast.com/news/in-n-out-colorado/ Now, I'm doing this:
