  1. I am going to have to agree with the other guys here, I would much rather have an 8 oz bottle from Adams. My OCD with my Adams collection is too strong to allow me to have a different style/non-adams labeled bottle to be thrown into the mix. I am a detailer, so all the details matter. I understand some people rather save some money or aren't worried about having everything match up, but some of us do. If you rather purchase a generic bottle and nozzle, be my guest, but don't put down the guys that want to stay loyal to their product line.
  2. I would like to see an updated "Ask the shine doc", especially with all the new product they have come out with as of late.
  3. I wish this wasn't such short notice. I would love to finally make it to one of these events. Unfortunately they are all a 5+ hour drive for me.
  4. What do you guys do with your pads after a correcting session? I made the mistake of setting mine back in the cabinet and weeks later they have somewhat hardened to an extent.
  5. I try to regularly hit mine with APC. I let it soak for a good 5 minutes then hit it with a splash of water and use my fender brush to scrub it down. I then rinse it clean and inspect, repeat if necessary. I have a CR Spotless system so I rinse it off them with the blaster then air dry for any residual. If you have just tap water maybe rinse and dry then hit it with a light mist of Detail Spray to reduce any potential for water spots. Once dry I then hit it with VRT and the foam block. As others have stated...the liners do become a little slippery but the VRT does an excellent job at keeping foreign material from sticking to it, making cleaning the next time a breeze. I don't mind them being a little slippery for the payoff of easy cleaning. It's not like I'm walking on them, my feet simply rest on top of them. Hope this helps.
  6. Shorter stiffer brushes would be great. Maybe 2 sizes also. One for larger wall tires and one for lower profile tires.
  7. Watching Shameless on Netflix and saw Adams being used! Season 2 episode 9 "Hurricane Monica". A lady is washing her semi with Adams. I got so excited when I seen it, while my wife proceeded to roll her eyes. About 18 minutes in.
  8. Cant wait to see mine today...awesome suggestions also!
  9. Ordering mine soon, along with $250 in other product...I really need to stay off of the site....
  10. I see that you guys decided to go through with this and that its on the site now. I think you should send me one signed by the whole team!
  11. What's the difference between this and the paint coating kit? Am I able to use the remaining ceramic coating from my paint kit on my wheels? When will that SK mini be available?
  12. Is Adams going to offer the paint coating itself as a single product? I don't need the whole kit. Just need to replenish the actual bottle of coating.
  13. What do you charge for this level of a job?
  14. Welcome! What area of Indiana are you from?
  15. I have a Generac One Wash as my around the house pressure washer. You can select between 4 different pressures. The lowest setting is 2000 psi and the highest is 3100 psi. It has a flow of 2.8 gpm. I use 2000 psi setting for the foam cannon, works amazing. Best gas pressure washer I've owned thus far for general use.
  16. Correct car does not have film. The picture does not really show the contamination the best. Some spots are the size of a dime. Would soaking any product on the affected area help?
  17. I am need of some advice. My front bumper has multiple spots of clear looking bug guts. I've tried using a clay bar but I just cant seem to remove the contamination. I plan on machine polishing the car in a few weeks and need to remove it. Any advice on how to remove it?
  18. Not sure if this has ever been suggested...but I would love to see Adams come out with a calendar. Anyone else think they would buy in on it?
  19. Recieved a 16oz bottle of Strip Wash in my MB order today. The bottle had a regular seal cap on it and the pull nozzle cap was seperate in the box. I replaced the seal cap with the pull nozzle cap and the cap will not go on straight. Tried multiple other pull caps from other bottles with same result.
