  1. I recently glazed then americana on my daily (but it is also garaged) its been at least a month, looks like glass and is still holding up well! I glazed first to mask any imperfections i may have missed with finishing polish.
  2. I did not know it was reformulated with carnauba, either way, I added a spray nozzle to my BG (no dilution) and it works great. Helps me in even distribution on my pad or applicator. 6-7 months now, no clogs. ?
  3. Strip wash and clay first no need to wipe previous polish before moving to the next, unless needed to see where you are. But it would just be considered an extra step. Keep the pad flat at all times (unlike a rotary) Change pads after a few panels, or at least brush it out and allow to cool, the softer the pad gets and the warmer it gets, the less correcting it is doing.
  4. Welcome Pat, I’m originally from Baltimore County (East side). Very Nice Corvette! Let me know if you need anything!
  5. Yes all of the above, pretty much every hard surface, except glass, and not to be used on cloth either.
  6. Yup yup, I remember listening to that while working on my truck last year, good stuff !
  7. https://companyweek.com/company-profile/adams-polishes another good article I found thanks to google ??
  8. Only took ya a year! Haaaa Hey pirahnah The #2’s truck is actually very shiny, goes to show how good Adam’s products work, even for dummies! ?? In all seriousness....I taught him everything he knows ?? Ok but for real, Welcome Nick2, get some pics up and enjoy your new family here!
  9. Hey Kyle Happy Monday, Just curious how much SiO2 is in the One Step Polish thanks
  10. A little out of the norm here, maybe a little silly, but I am blown away with the final product. Only took 5-10minutes too. I apologize for no, ‘before’ pictures These globes have not been done in at least 3 yrs, were cloudy, and kind of gunky, as they are in the kitchen about 10 ft from the stove. I first cleaned with dish soap and water, then Adam’s Glass cleaner, and lastly Brilliant Glaze.
  11. Looking good, I like the set up and the LED lights!
  12. Did the wife’s headlights this morning. Cleaned first with APC and a magic eraser, then clayed, then microfiber pad and HCC with the SKMini, then blue pad and HCC, then all four pads from microfiber, blue, orange, white, all with ONE STEP POLISH. (One step is amazing, I love it! Anyone thinking about it, or thinking all in ones are no good, I highly recommend it!) Anyways, I finished with Paint Sealant. If you can see the pitting marks, the lens is actually cracked on the inside, this car is almost 13 yrs old and sits outside 24/7, and in direct sun a lot of the time.
  13. What polish and machine etc... did you use, on the blue SUV, the paint looks great
  14. Couple thoughts... it is recomended to use GnG panel by panel if detail spray doesn’t remove what we see in this pic, try clay Question... how many sprays are you doing of GnG it is recommended for 1 or 2 sprays per panel, as with most of Adam’s products, a little goes a long way. keep us posted
  15. Yup yup exactly been doing this in the fire service for at least 20yrs now
  16. I love the wheel woolie, and I wrapped the handle in sports style grip tape/friction tape
  17. Mine looks the same....my thought is that its the silica. ?‍♂️
  18. Just came across this thread...but I definitely agree with Rich, these are huge events that brings folks from all over. The city caters to them as well, with discounts on food and lodging. A big ol Adams truck sitting in the convention center’s parking lot would draw a lot of attention for sure!
  19. Welcome!! I would suggest starting with some kits, they save you time and cash. When I started, I piece mealed everything together, and definitely lost some money doing so. The Adam’s Shine is very unique, you won’t regret a thing!
  20. My wifes get really bad....12 yr old CRV.....i wet sand, compund, polish, paint sealant.
  21. H2O GnG is an amazing product also, and I would say it lasts longer than CB on a non coated. But i still suggest CB, its quick and easy and I think you’d love it
  22. Where are ya at in PA, there is a show next weekend in Carlisle and Adam’s will have a tent with most everything available.
  23. I can’t really speak for longevity, but I do love me some Ceramic Boost! My truck is garage kept, and i avoid driving in rain when possible. I also use detail spray often, as well as, wash and wax, buttery, americana, and so on. I will say CB is easy to use and adds a glassy, glossy, wet look, at least to a Black vehicle. It smells like really sweet pistachios. It also works great on glass and plastic trim.
