  1. Yes grey or red. Makes the job extremely quick, and helps with even distribution and easier removal (not that application or removal was ever hard)
  2. -in the state of Maryland, law states you need a front tag and rear tag -Ocean City MD, is the 2nd largest city in the state, but only June-August (next to Baltimore 1st, and then Rockville being the normal 2nd). With that being said, they hire a large amount of newer or small town cops, that sometimes feel the need to prove themselves....now with that being said, it is also a family/resort town, so we as people blame those young “rent a cops” at times for being picky or being “ticket nazi’s” but they may also have strict directives due to the children running around every year, and the multitudes of deaths each year in the city. Just some insight.
  3. Instead of giving advice, here is what I have done this year.... clay polish glaze americana wax that was in May, I have a black Tahoe in Maryland, it is exposed to elements about 3 days a week and garaged the rest. I used detail spray to dry and in between washes and it is holding up extremely well. The only other thing I do, is behind the rear wheels, where I get a lot of kick up during and rains and what not, is clay and apply Cermaic Boost every few weeks. Those areas seem to wear on the protection very quick. Last year i did the sealant and GnG and never ever had a problem
  4. Looks great sir, I love Black, and I love the Tahoes and Yukons. Did you really use paint sealant before the coating or is that a typo?
  5. Red hex grip or microfiber sponge applicator or red foam on a machine, it goes on very thin, a little goes a long way
  6. First we need before and after pics of the Yukon! secondly I would strip iron remover clay polish- if you dont have a machine use Revive. then PS BG and your choice of wax and the rest you can see my previous for what I do to my Black Tahoe
  7. Yea absolutely, that will work, I love PS because it reminds me of the beach/sun lotion however, GnG and CB would probably be the quickest and easiest re-ups. Both providing at least 2 months of protection
  8. Thanks, I do paint sealant before winter, and again after winter. So just twice a year. my in betweens consist of- Brilliant Glaze Buttery Americana GnG Ceramic Boost and Detail Spray(which does have wax) in no particular order, its just whenever, for fun/therapy
  9. Brilliant glaze does fill minor imperfections and it does so very well. It also adds a ton of shine and doesn’t build up. I use it often for some extra pop, takes only a few minutes. Did it today in 90° heat on a hot truck. No issues. Pic below For your other question about longevity of PS afterwards, hard to say, because i re-up my protection often
  10. Sounds like maybe too much dirt, did you lift or pull the towel upward as you wiped? Also flip the towel on every swipe? this is a good video, but he wasn’t pulling the towel in the upward motion, waterless wash is great and I do it often, with no issues on a Black Tahoe.
  11. Ceramic boost is an awesome product, and smells fantastic. I use it often for protection and it does outlast detail spray. The application is simple and it can be used on all exterior surfaces!
  12. Yikes, i must have sipped on some then....by accident
  13. Hey Jim, how old are the SUPER VRT and BUTTERY WAX down in front?

  15. Very good info! Any input on the Cinco de Mayo? I’d guess the 55gal or the Cars and coffee?
  16. Welcome! APC will not hurt the paint, it works well for the worse bugs and tar etc... Get it on and off fast, and replace your wax/sealant Also long time Adam favorite is to dress your trim with VRT immediately after drying the vehicle, that way when you go to polish/wax/seal, you can avoid this whole scenario
  17. Welcome, how is Detroit these days, I was there for a few days, back in 2005.
  18. Awesome, I have a black Tahoe, and agree with Rich! You won’t regret it, and you won’t be able to stop staring!

  22. Welcome Bill, that is an absolutely gorgeous Acura! You've definitely come to the right place to keep her looking sharp for a long time! Jeez if my wife only knew how much I spent on Adam’s... ?‍♂️ If you didnt already spend that much, I would have definitely recommended the “ultimate kit” its pretty much one of everything. But it sounds like you are well on your way. Keep an eye out for sales, like the current one and also kits will save you a whole lot!
