  1. Maybe the Flex is back unless there is some polisher made in Mexico....
  2. It was sad to hear. I did enjoy listening to them.
  3. Has Dylan said anything or is the comments here just based upon what they think happened?
  4. I can name my cars: Cindy, Suzie, Sarah, Sally. Black Bart....
  5. The price looks like $1300. That is not bad. It sure would make rotating tires easier.
  6. I would give an example. Since I have not seen any Adam's MSDS, I do not know if this is used in any products, I know some people are sensitive about using products that contain Ethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether (2-Butoxyethanol). It is used in some products like glass cleaners (know two detailing brands that use it) and other common household cleaners. It is not considered really especially toxic but there supposedly workplace limits and has caused cancer in laboratory rats that were given 6 zillion gallons. Therefore, some are concerned about it since if you happen to use in confined areas you exceed maximum safe dosages. They would propose you use vinegar, etc, as a natural substitute. If I was detailing inside of cars for extended periods, I may think twice about it.
  7. What is 'safe' is not a black and white answer. That is why there are MSDS sheets so people can choose for products identified by the government. California has chosen to have sellers identify products that contain certain substances (proposition 65) yet other states do not care. This allows people to decide for themselves. Product effects can take some time to occur.
  8. The MSDS sheets for many consumers products are readily available online. I think they should be required and readily available without any pre-conditions despite the fact that people try to use them for ulterior motives.
  9. I think a better way to discuss the heated air on the Master Blaster is to realize this machine uses 2280 Watts (19 Amps) or 50% more than a typical hairdryer or more than 4 500W Halogen lights. Like any power tool (think a DA), they are going to generate lots of heat automatically and this turns into an advantage (power tools are better when cooled since the air cools the motor) and translates into heated air.
  10. Are you fulfilling from Nevada or Colorado?
  11. ONR mixed with soap will kill suds in my experience.
  12. Yes that was my video. I have used Adam's in it too. I still have a batch of Phil's (of Detailer's Domain) Cocktail..mixture of Adam's soap and a little all purpose cleaner. He had used it in his details.
  13. I have the Griot's one. It works pretty good for a foam gun. It is inexpensive if you want to try it out.
  14. In the end, you should just try to use one and decide. I can understand the price is up there but it works in ways a blower does not unless you add hose similar to Master Blaster.
  15. The Blue Ridge Parkway is a favorite of mine.
  16. Does Metro have some priority system on fulfilling orders? I do not see other places having a problem stocking them. Do you drop ship these or stock and fulfill yourself?
  17. A 1:10 ratio (say 3 ounces in 32 ounce reservoir) should generate good foam. Temperature is not a major variable. It may help the soap dissolve in the reservoir but not coming out of the cannon. If you are having foaming issues, then your foam cannon is probably clogged and not picking up soap property.
  18. Not a good sign for American manufacturers. I do think the idea of promotional sales (like when you do get hex grips in stock) that a have a limited offering (while supplies last) would help manage supply just people have seasonal blends of waxes, etc, I have not heard much about Flex returns but I know handling any return on a heavy $300+ product is not cheap even if small numbers given the profit in them.
  19. You can also use the 4-in cyclo pads with one of those knobs with velcro.
  20. One problem with American manufacturer's is long lead times. This is not sustainable for sellers who want to stock and ship to their customers. The American companies that are more likely to survive are the ones that are responsive to the market.
