  1. Well mine gets polished twice a year (Spring and Fall) and washed couple times thru out the year to keep the coils clean of dirt.
  2. What did you end up doing abou the letters? My opinion is you just have to look see how they look. In the past I have placed (not mounted) one tire with letters out and one without then stood back and looked. Then told the person how to mount them on the truck. Norton has a great pic of the Toyota with white letters out (look how great those letters look with those tires).
  3. Congratulations on the new home purchase.......that yard is not bad.....just get you a commercial mower
  4. You must really live back in the woods if your garden been done for a month and having to light the woodstove. We had garden until the past weekend (tomatoes and beans were still coming in). It is about time to turn the heat on.
  5. Thank You Adams for doing this for the ladies....do not laugh men can get it too but it is very very very rare (learned that several years ago). My mother is a 14 year survivor (surgeries, chemo, and radiation was an experience I will remember). Chemo turned into half day experience for us. The only thing that reminds me that she had it was she can get a cold little easier than my father and I, and also her strength in the right hand did decrease.
  6. I have not had rust on rotors that bad (except when the rotors have been turned in which that is a different story).
  7. Not sure if many of you guys are a movie person. I thought I would chime in and say I will let you know about the Big Stone Gap. It is an actual town in Southwest Virginia, in which I have had the opportunity to see in person. What I have read this movie is not about it be a coal town, alot of people think of that when hearing Southwest Virginia. I enjoy seeing small towns but more and more of them are disapearing. Big Stone Gap was one a very thriving coal town but since the War on coal started it is not. As Jimmy Rose sang......Coal keeps the lights on..........Coal keeps the bills paid.....
  8. Jason you did great with the color. I do like that color better than black. My exboss really likes his. You even got the Z71 package.
  9. Ashley gave you great advice. I am not sure if you use this as a daily driver or show only vehicle. If you drive it daily get you a set of mats that will fit in the mustang use those and only put the nice mustang ones in when going to a show. Easier to keep the nice mustang one cleaner. I did that with my prior vehicle (nothing fancy just carpet) and when I sold the people asked did you buy new mats for this vehicle. My response was no those are the mats that came when I picked it up new from the dealership.
  10. I try to wash my daily driver every two weeks during the spring, summer, and fall (work, farm, and other things keep me busy). Winter is a different story. I remember one time it was cold, bad weather, etc. and it was two months before I could even do a wash. I always wash it in the winter after every snow we receive to wash all the salt off. Usually have to change the rinse water many times.
  11. Chris, It appears you had good luck. I have some family in Columbia that I am trying to get intouch with. Just hard to believe the Columbia area and so far from the coast. Rich, Strange thing here where I live they had a major flood in 77 (what my parents tell me). My father says you would not believe what water can do. Then the next county a few years ago received a rain couple days after a very large snow and you can guess had flooding and see the flood waters next to the major four lane going thru town while on a normal day you can barely see the water.
  12. I am just thankful that I have a job in this bad economy that we are experiencing. The employeer that I work for has laid off 50% of the workforce (less than three years). My prior group has had a 60% decrease and my current group has had a 40% decrease. Honestly we have NOT seen the beginning trust me. Sorry got off topic.
  13. Tell me about it. The SUV that I drive was $38K back in 2004 now the same SUV is $45K and if you add all the options $50K.
  14. These guys hit the nail on the head. I decided to use VRT on the cover in cargo area of my SUV and it looks like I just bought the cover and installed it.
  15. Congratulations upon becoming first time home owners. First replace the lights with LED's. Second actually plan out what you want to do.
  16. Went shopping (yesterday) at Cabela's new store before the grand opening.
  17. Phil you will like a fan in the summer months. Dan I do like how you mounted your fan. Did not think of mounting it that way. I ended up mounting mine in the ceiling and to pull the hottest air out of the garage.
  18. I noticed it this morning on LinkedIn
  19. If someone handed me $500.....I would give $75 to church....put $125 into savings........go out and eat with the lady...rest will be used to do good deeds for people.
  20. Hey Ray, Welcome to the Adams Forum. Race City USA is nice place. I actually pass thru Mooresville every couple weeks.
  21. Soon as I read Map Gas....I had to think for a second.......Guess it it where you live because here everyone I know uses the Blue Tanks (propane). The younger generation does not understand math like my generation and older. We had to do it all by hand instead of using technology. Now if you get to my father's generation that was the slide ruler. He talks about the first pocket calculators.
  22. Those are suppose to work good. You can get them where you can have more that one inside unit on one outside unit.
  23. Dan it appears you have an artist in the family. Happy Father's Day to all the Fathers and Grandfathers here. I feel bless to be able to see my father everyday. I have learned alot from my father and grandfather (until he died) and on my other side my grandfather died while I was small and did not get to know him well.
  24. That is the reason I have a silver (SUV) and white (Truck). Two very good points.
