  1. Late last week while fishing the local pond I slipped in a muddy spot and my knee landed in goose s*** and cut grass. What a funky, stinky stain that was! Got home and tossed the jeans in the wash but the stain didn’t budge. Out with Adam’s Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner and a good soaking spray. Tossed jeans back in the wash and after another cycle they were clean. Liquid Tide has met its match.
  2. Yesterday my manky SS was crying out for some much needed attention. I started with the last of my Kangaroo Cleaner from Dylan (old red Adam’s Car Shampoo) in my 2 iK sprayers. Small sprayer was used to foam up wheels and wheel wells. Wheels were cleaned with Adam’s Turbo Stick and my old trusty Adam’s Lug Nut brush. Tires were cleaned with APC and a stiff bristle brush. Rinsing revealed extraordinary beading on the wheels. I love coated wheels. On to the paint where the large iK sprayer covered my SS in Adam’s Car Shampoo goodness with near shaving cream consistency. While entranced watching the soap globs slowly removing nasties from the finish I noticed the SS’ exhaust tips were embarrassingly dirty.😳 I blasted them with APC and scrubbed them to near new appearances. Just to make sure they stay that way I coated them with a competitor’s wheel coating after I finished the rest of the car. I rinsed the SS of soapy goodness then did a sheeting rinse. I plan on polishing the SS this coming weekend so I applied a competitor’s iron removal product to the paint and license plates. Another quick rinse and it was time for a quick wash using several wash mitts in a bucket. I used Adam’s Spray Wax as a drying aid. ♥️♥️♥️ Tires got a competitor’s shiny tire stuff wipe-down. My trunk which contains almost a sporting goods fishing department inventory got some Adam’s Odor Neutralizer, trust me, it needed it. Scent is pineapple orchid. I like it and recommend it. Finished up with previously mentioned wheel coating on exhaust tips. I have only a few minor spots to correct this coming weekend so it’ll be wash, clay polish and coat. I’m on vacation next week so if needed the SS can cure in the garage the whole week! As you can see I have just a little polishing to do.😉. I’m quite happy with the finish after two years. Ninety or so percent of the washes on the SS have been rinse less. E4B387EC-B4BD-4761-A65D-ECE706063B5B.MOV
  3. My wife’s Beast was covered in about eleventy million bird bombs...well maybe not eleventy, but there were a lot! I first foamed her Durango R/T with a competitor’s foaming prep wash in the jumbo iK sprayer. While that was dwelling I quickly hit the wheels and tires with a MF wash pad and a tire brush. A quick rinse revealed wheels and tires beading water quite nicely, so no LSP for them. On to the paint which got rinsed then washed with Adam’s Blue Car Shampoo using a couple of wash mitts in one bucket. I love that Microfiber Wash Mitt I got in my mystery bucket. Finally a wash mitt I can fit my big hands into comfortably! That area between the middle and ring fingers that is sewn together is brilliant. No hand slipping in the wash mitt exposing the dirty side. Vehicle was then rinsed off and I used Adam’s Spray Wax as a drying aid. No pics as it was dark out when I finished and an icy cold diet Sprite and Whiskey Acres Bourbon were calling my name. BTW: this was also my first time using Adam’s Blue Car Shampoo and I must say I love it. I have about 16 oz. left of the old red Adam’s car shampoo from the days DVK worked there the second time. It’s been one of my two favorites and now I must say I have a third.
  4. Welcome back Charles. Thank you for your service to our country. It is greatly appreciated. Im with you on the limited edition products, I don’t buy them. I stick to what I need and want, leaving more for those that want to buy them.
  5. Yesterday I used Spray Wax on the kitchen windows after giving them a thorough cleaning. The lovely Mrs. liked that so much I did the rest of the downstairs windows this morning. Every spring I APC the Rubbermaid mailbox then wipe it down with VRT.
  6. Sooooo, how much of that snow is still hanging around?
  7. Thank you Dan! They’re all gone. Thumbs up to the Marketing team.
  8. Almost everything on the “Specials” and “Flash Sale” is out of stock and has been that way for quite some time. Somebody at HQ has to monitor the forum. Pass this on to the correct person in Sales or Marketing. Thank you SIM CAMARO for posting this.
  9. Daniel, you inadvertently answered your own question. You don’t need a different light source you need a darker background to contrast the light reflected off of silver paint. When I work on my wife’s silver Beast I will turn off all the lights in the garage and use a hand held LED flashlight to check my work. My previous ( and next!) vehicle was pearl white and I learned quickly to do what we do in our optical lab when we’re inspecting lenses for cosmetic defects. This lens looks pretty good, right? Guess again. Same lens, same old man hand but with a black background providing contrast just like your security light at night. Perhaps a pop up shade or parking under a tree if you have no garage. You may also need to get down closer to the paint and change the angle of reflection to help see imperfections.
  10. Rinseless washed the SS using Adam’s Rinseless Wash followed by a competitor’s bead making wipedown. We’ve got two to three inches of rain in the forecast from tonight through Thursday so I’m not sure what I was thinking but for now it looks nice. Looking forward to correcting the paint then coating it next month. I found a couple love marks on the hood and trunk lid probably from snow removal that need addressing. Touched up the windshield with Glass Sealant after a good scrubbing and clay bar.
  11. Yes, ELEVEN! I don’t know where the time went, seemed I was just holding them and rocking them to sleep and now they’re almost as tall as I am.😳
  12. The ophthalmologist my wife works for closed his practice and retired March 30th. I was honored to be his last patient; no visual field changes and excellent eye health considering my glaucoma diagnosis almost twenty five years ago. Anyway, he let us have four giant cabinets that housed some of his patients medical files. One is in the basement now full of detailing supplies and the other three are in the garage. I removed the doors from the one in the basement but I’m leaving the doors on the three in the garage. Note: Waterless Wash, Detail Spray, Microfiber Revitalizer, Tire & Rubber Cleaner, Turbo Stick, old wooden handled lug nut brush and clay bars were on different shelves when I got the itch to snap these pics. They are now all reunited and happily living on the same shelf away from the influence of Barry Meguiar, Richard Griot, Jim Lafeber and Bob McKee. Today before the family came over for Sunday dinner I rinseless washed the cabinets then dried them. They were then treated to Adam’s Quick Sealant followed by a competitor’s paint sealant. Yes, the spray head popped off and I had to go chase after it but that’s the fun of using Quick Sealant! 😁👍🏼 Tomorrow everything on the garage shelves is coming down and going into those same cabinets. Best part is the price: free for the hauling! Worst part is I’m now down to three full cans of Quick Sealant.
  13. Last night I had the talk with my ten, soon to be eleven year old twin daughters regarding the easter bunny. They both admitted the idea of a rabbit bringing eggs full of candy was somewhat sketchy. We then discussed the crucifixion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and what it means to us and our Christian faith. This morning when they came downstairs, separately, I greeted them with “Hallelujah, He is risen! “ They responded with “ He is risen, indeed.” A Happy Easter to all.
  14. I can’t find the video on YouTube, but I remember Dylan whispering “soap soap” while describing soap soap.
  15. Last night I gave the SS a quick rinseless wash so I could see if I received any damage from these and many others like it that fell from the sky yesterday afternoon. Nope! No damage. This morning I drove in the rain to go get the tires rotated and an oil change. Tomorrow morning she’ll get another rinseless wash. The wife’s Beast though will get a real bath. That thing is nasty right now.
  16. I rinseless washed the SS using a competitor’s discontinued product. Drivers side WeatherTech mat got rinsed then scrubbed clean.
  17. I’m adding pics to illustrate my point. First pic is one of my dash taken with my iPhone 6S. The second pic is of the same view, same iPhone, but taken through my Maui Jim glass polarized lens.
  18. Rich, Two things. First is I have no clue on resizing pics on my iPad so I just deleted it. No worries. Second is how does one undo message block. I looked and didn’t find that setting. Can you point me in the right direction? Or I could ask my ten year old twins who’ll find it and fix it in seconds then roll their eyes as they walk away whispering to each other how dump Papa is...😅😅😅
  19. ^ (Scratches Chris off of Lou Malnati’s Surprise birthday pizza delivery list.). ^. 😁😅
