As stated clay on the glass is great, if the spots don’t come off take the next step of the #0000 steel wool that should really help.

‘’For the wheels, the h2o will do a decent job but a ceramic coating will obviously last much longer. As far as cloying the wheels...not sure, I might just hit them with the polisher and call it a day.

If you decide to clay the wheels, make sure you don’t use the same clay on the paint as the clay on the wheels.

If clay doesn’t get the water spots off, try hand polishing either using revive or another polish.

PS will work. So will HGG. But neither will stand up to the heat from the wheels and brakes like Wheel Coating.

Sealant will help with water spotting in the future for sure.

Looks like you need to take those wheels off and use a small piece of clay inside the lug holes then. If that doesn’t take it all off, use a small dab of finishing polish with a microfiber towel and work it. One of those methods will work.

Try a clay bar on the wheels. If the spots are from a recent incident it should pull them off. BUT, once you clay your wheels keep that clay bar for wheels ONLY. It will pick up all sorts of metallic contaminants from the brakes and you don’t want to rub that all over your paint.

Yes you can. And sealant isn't necessary after, but certainly will help. Clay the windshield and other windowz while you're at it!

You might also consider Revive to remove spots on your wheels, then seal them with PS, HGG or similar. Maybe even wheel coating.

So my wife just pick me up a couple bottles of detail spray and I got to be honest the American Detail spray to me anyways does not smell like apple pie.  it smells good but to me it kind of smells like a minty version of Bengay back rub.  Not complaining but my nostrils don't smell apple pie at all.  And it smells exactly like the Canada spray too.

But I also got a bottle of pumpkin spice and yeah that stuff smells delicious

+2 on Revive. Then +1 on BG to make the trim pop (if only for a short while).

ive only used it 2 times so far......(brand new car)  the 1st time it was brown foam all over, the second time was less.  ive used the whole bottle so far basically 8 tires.  so ill be buying the gallon jug and maybe every other wash since its summer.

Not wrong, but probably overkill. Basically, yes, misting it. I just spray the tire with the hose, then spray on the TRC and scrub. It may be closer to 6-10 sprays, but I do have low profile tires, 225-45-R18, so your mileage may vary...but nowhere near what you've been using, I don't think. I also use the (old, longer bristle) red Adam's tire brush. Do you have either that or the new, shorter bristle one? If not, I highly recommend it. It foams up the cleaner really well. You'll get great results and I think be a lot happier overall.

A whole bottle for 2 times around the car?! For reference, I use about 6 sprays or so per tire, with a 16oz lasting me quite a few washes. You may be using too much.

    ^^Agreed Mattie.

If you watch Garry Dean's video on Youtube he uses a Karcher with 1.2 gpm and 1600psi.  He also uses the proper MTM 14.0349 foam cannon which has the proper nozzle for lower flow washers.  2 oz of soap and the container is half full with water and he is able to foam the car twice before emptying the bottle.  The suds look great to me on the video.

I think 2 things are lacking when we talk about the lack of suds from a foam cannon

-type of MTM cannon used vs. washer used
(The MTM cannon with a higher pressure rating is more readily available and you really have to check what MTM part number you are ordering to know)
-amount of soap vs. water in the bottle
(I've noticed many are trying to get away with 1 oz of soap and filling the bottle with 32 oz of water, and hoping for shaving cream.  If you are filling the bottle with 32 oz of solution, first of all you'll have enough to foam up at least 3 times so it may be too much for one car wash, and you do need to add more soap)

Watch Phil @ DD's video, when he is filling up the cannon bottle he is recommending 2-4 ounces of Car Shampoo and then fill with water.  You definitely need to use that amount in the cannon to get close to the thick shaving cream foam.  Which is why I'm saying if you are only filling the bottle halfway, or 2/3 perhaps, you may be able to get away with 1-2 ounces of soap.

honestly I like the Ryobi ones, we have the larger electric one at work with the hose reel and it works well for us.

Get the pump.  No need to clean it, just leave it in the gallon, and put a 3/8" vinyl vacuum cap over it to keep it from dripping or drying out.

In this photo, the pump on the Wash & Wax is the current version.
