For anyone who is evacuating the coast and coming to Columbia, SC - I have space for multiple cars and/or an RV or two at my house.  If you are coming to Columbia, SC for your evacuation location and want to have your vehicle parked someplace other than a hotel or shelter (school) parking lot, please send me a PM.

Honestly, if there were enough motorcycles that needed cover to warrant putting the wife's car in the driveway, we'd both agree to it.    We believe in giving back and helping others as we know there are good people out there that would help us if needed.  35 years ago when we met,  we were both in US Coast Guard and we've never wavered from our desire to help others which at the time was the primary missions of the USCG.

Edit:  FYI:  Just to be clear, my bike would remain in the garage, so I do have limits...?

The second picture of the Alaskan Sockeye Salmon that my daughter made with a Honey-Lemon glaze.   While we don't get fresh Alaskan fish very often, it sure worth it when we do.  After living in Kodiak, Alaska for multiple years, there is nothing that compares - you just need to time it right and be willing to pay for the transport.

Good evening everyone. As requested here are some pics of my finished car.
The paint correction wasn’t difficult it was just time consuming. It took me an entire 10 hours. But time very well spent. It was therapeutic and it was extremely mirror like when I was done. Here are some pics I took that night after it  was all set and done. If you think you see imperfections, trust me those are reflections. Lol
Next on to my black truck. This one will be a true test but I’m up for the challenge.

    Thanks for the support.

Here’s a little teaser of the first coat of coating down on a truck that came in...still two coats to go for some long protection for our client!

Black has been the flavor of the week!

This truck went through three steps of correction before being prepped for coating. And to make @pirahnah3 happy, we included reflections!

And since my father in law was kind enough to do the electrical in the new workspace, we thought it was fair to thank him by giving his car a service...it was pretty rough since he drives it from Florida every year when he comes home. But the boys did a great job turning it around!

And lastly, we couldn’t push out all this great work without these two guys!  Marquis is an animal when it comes to this stuff. He’s a quiet guy who greatly understates his ability and knowledge.

And Justin who’s still learning all of the ropes but has fantastic attention to detail and patience. These two guys help the business run and couldn’t ask for better guys to grind with!  If they ever join here, they can themselves in a post!

Again, no need to wait for the PS to dry/cure. It's good to go right away. But there's no harm in waiting if you really want to do so.

Also, I recommend rather than use the "dry" application method for the HGG, just spray down the car and apply as if you had just washed it. You'll use less product, and will likely be happier with the results, reducing streaks, etc.

And as you prep for winter, here are a couple of my favorite videos from Adam:

Idk how I got lucky and scored one a few weeks back but I did. I had been searching for weeks on ebay and on here, happened to look up who my local dealers were and called the closest one to me. I asked him if they kept in stock and if he had any signs. He had a sign and gave it to me for free when I got there! Obviously bought some product from him to return the favor and will now be going back there from now on!

Welcome, Bob! Lots of converts from other products on here, and plenty of great people and info around these parts, too! Ask any questions you have.

For the Paint Sealant (PS), one coat is sufficient; two won't do much of anything, and may actually affect the visual appeal. You can apply the HGG right after you remove the PS, no need to wait, and that will be your additional coat of protection. HGG essentially acts as a boost, and should be used every 3-4 washes or so. If you really want some pop on both those black beauties, get the Brilliant Glaze. No real protection, but man will they shine!

W&W is ideal for winter use as it's more of a Wash and Seal, and is silica based vs. carnuba. Not a lot of experience with the CB, Patriot or CPW for me, so I can't really offer much input. Pretty sure both the W&W and Ultra Foam will play nicely with any of those, though.

And keep Mystery Boxes as an option for future buys. They're an awesome way to build your supply and try new products.

@shane@detailedreflections I am always impressed by your work and willingness to share with the members of this forum.  When it comes to black vehicles, I did some years ago (pre-Adam's) and they were Ok and it frustrated me when I saw what others could achieve on a black vehicle.  Seeing what you have done with this truck, it reaffirms my believe as an amateur to know when to send things to a professional.

Thanks for the compliment. It took the boys some time on the polishers, but they got it beat pretty good. We have another black truck in now that was worse than this since it’s for 40k miles on it. I’ll try to get some before and after shots. That truck is in for our flagship coating service! Should look amazing when it’s done!
