Car was cleaned with Car Shampoo in a Premium Foam Gun and Red Wash Mitt and then hit with H20 Guard and Gloss.
Front windshield was hit with Glass Cleaner, then a Visco Clay Car lubricated by Detail Spray and finished off with H20 Guard and Gloss.

Finally got warm enough to get into the garage and attach my new bottle rack to my Adam's cart. Thing fits perfect, and the legs behind it are the ideal support for the bottom.  This thing is STEEL and will never ever break.  It's heavy, and with full bottles in it, it's even going to be heavier, so I drilled through the side of the cart and attached it with two bolts and two nuts.  Don't have anything on my cart yet as it's still too cold here for bringing out my full stuff, but I had enough empty bottles for pics.  Thanks Adam's for offering a much needed product to your line.

Just tried out the Ultra Foam for the first time. And man I wasn’t disappointed. Twice as much foam then usual and only used maybe 3 oz. here’s a pic I took. If you guys have any cool foam pictures you want to post go for it!

I had a chance to use this product and at the bare minimum, its nothing short of impressive. The warm, soft glow it creates, rivals that of natural products such as my P21S and my high-end $1K estate waxes by Zymol (Concurs, Destiny & Atlantique).

I washed, dried, clayed, and then polished with Wolfgang 3.0 and white pad at speed 5. My finish was excellent to start, but wanted to start from scratch. I took the OP's recommendation and waited anywhere from 12-24 hrs between coats. The more coats I applied, the more impeccable the finish became.

Like any product, new or old, you have to be an investigator. I tried everything, laid on super thin, laid on thick. Wiped instantly, wiped until impossible to come off. Tried numerous brands of high-end MF towels, both dry and prepped with QD. In the end, I found the middle way which worked the best.

The packaging is great, glass jar with a very tight sealing cover. The smell is lime, not too weak, not too strong.

I attached some pictures, tri-white is not that impressive, but still gives you and idea.

Don't plan on running out of this soon, however, I would easily pull the trigger again.

Other products on this car are Adams banana tire dressing and in & out spray.

I am really impressed with the new Adams Paste Wax! I tried it out on our daily driven 2017 Ram 1500. I did a full correction and applied Adams Ceramic Paint Coating back in March. I've applied Adams Ceramic Boost several times since. I like the boost but also enjoy waxing so I was glad this product was released.
Applying was super easy and a little goes a long way! I did one panel at a time and had no issues with removal. I do not know what the scent is but I like it!

The Ceramic Paste Wax comes with a foam applicator.

I placed a decent size order during the last mystery bucket sale which included the Detail Boy shirts and a few detail boy/girl stickers. One shirt was for me and one was for my son. While the package was inbound, the day of the delivery, FedEx marked the package as damaged, not deliverable. I called Adam's and spoke to one of their sales reps, Chandler. He said typically they wait until the damaged package is returned, see what product(s) are damaged, replaced those, re-box and then ship back out. He saw that I had some of the Detail Boy shirts in there which sparked the conversation of hoping they were ok because he knew inventory was running low on them. I said to him, I'd hate for you all to get the box back and see that the shirts were messed up and then not have inventory to replace it. He said you're right, I'll deal with FedEx and getting the damaged package back but in the meantime I'll make sure a new box is sent out to you ASAP so that you don't miss out on the Detail Boy shirts! 24 hours later I had a new order in my account and a tracking number in my email! Thanks Chandler and Adam's!

Most people would be surprised what a brand new car needs when you have an eye for it.  Paint corrected (correction and finishing polish where needed), ceramic coated, boosted, and ceramic waxed.  I’m a horrible photographer with only a phone, sorry.

Since I finally got decent looking ones, I installed the dark tail lights and 3rd brake light on my car. I still needed to use some correcting polish and revive on the replaced set of lights. But it didn’t take much, and I was able to do it by hand.

Strip washed, clayed, polished, sealed and (Buttery) waxed a customer's car. 2015 Infiniti Q70S, Malibu Black. He said it hasn't looked this good since the day he bought it new, and better than when he had it done by a local pro detailer just last fall. Music to my ears! Now his wife wants her Explorer done, inside and out. ?

MikeSoFlo reacted to Team Adam's in FAQ - "I let soap dry on my paint just like the video..."
This will be the first in a series of FAQ threads where I'll open up a discussion on a common concern or problem people face when detailing.

The last few weeks there has been a lot of emails, PM's, and calls regarding wash techniques probably due in large to the fact we're starting to get nice warm weather in many parts of the world and people are getting their rides ready for shows, cruises, or just driving around and looking good!

So the common concern usually comes to me something like this.

"I washed my car today and the soap dried on the paint. Its about 89* out and my black paint was very hot. When I went to dry the car the soap didn't come off easily. I did it exactly like the video, why is it hard to remove the soap? Is this normal?"

The first thing to understand is that this is very much a case of "Just becasue you can, doesn't mean you should". The soap is designed the way it is as a measure of insurance, not an excuse to be careless. Ideally you never want anything to dry on your finish, but if its completely unavoidable or happens by accident the soap drying is far safer than the alternative. The soap serves to keep the minerals suspended and being pH neutral it will not etch the paint or introduce any damage.

Avoid allowing the soap to dry in the first place and you'll make life much easier on yourself, but what if it does get baked on? How should you proceed?? In many cases just the act of rinsing the area one more time with water right before you start your drying routine with a Great White Drying Towel and Detail Spray will be enough to 'reactivate' the soap and make removing it easy as you dry.

In the event you still have some soap residue that won't come cleanly from the surface try taking a small amount of soapy water, either from your soap bucket via a clean wash pad, or a foam gun if you're working with one. Essentially you will "re-wash" that panel to remove the soap.

Keep in mind that dried soap on your finish is MUCH better than the alternative which is dried water that could lead to stubborn water spots and etching. 2 conditions that will require claying and/or polishing to remove.

SOME TIPS FOR AVOIDING DRIED SOAP:

Wash in the early morning or around dusk when the sun is low in the sky and much less harsh. The less direct sunlight leads to much lower surface temps and lower likelihood anything will dry on the paint.

Work indoors or in shade whenever possible. A kin to the first tip, reducing how much direct sunlight is on the paint while you're working is key to preventing drying and in turn makes everything easier. In the event you don't have a garage or cover to work under look into purchasing a pop up shelter. Many can be found for $150-$300 and collapse down for easy storage when not in use. Your entire care doesn't have to fit under it... position the shelter so it gives you shade in the areas you need.

Avoid wetting/soaping the sides of the vehicle that are in the sun until last. Nothing says you can't wash the vehicle in 2 stages. Rinse and soap the areas that are on the shad side of the vehicle first then move to the areas in the sun. Keeping the 'sun exposed' areas of the car dry until absolutely necessary buys you significantly more time before anything drying becomes a concern.

Spend more time on your initial rinse. 2 things cause drying - the direct heat of the sun and the indirect heat of the panel temperatures. You can reduce the surface temps of the paint by a large amount by spending more time in the initial rinsing of the panels. Soaking panels for more time with water drops the overall temps and buys you more time before the soap (once its introduced) will start drying.

Most of all common sense! As stated in the beginning this is a case of 'Just because you can, doesn't mean you should'. If you absolutely must work in the worst possible conditions adjust your technique to compensate, work quickly, and understand that you are creating more work for yourself by working in unforgiving circumstances. Also, DON'T PANIC! The initial response is to grab a towel and start scrubbing aggressively... understand that dried soap is a surface problem that can be corrected with the gentle approaches given above. Scrubbing at them can potentially introduce bigger problems.

Lastly HAVE FUN! Caring for your car is something that can be a joy or a real pain in the rear... by choosing when and how you approach your wash you dictate how it will go... so choose wisely!!
