Do you have any Revive hand polish or Brilliant Glaze?   If so, try them.  There are multiple methods, you just need to find the one that works for your situation.

I agree Revive polish or BG, I would try the BG first.

Yesterday, the weather conditions actually allowed me to properly wash my car as it was 78F instead of the normal 98-104F that it has been out here, so I wasn't afraid to add in a cycle of IR. And I got to use the IP for the first time.

After doing my Tonneau Cover, my son-in-law picked up a used one for his truck that was in very good shape and he got it for a great price.  I cleaned and coated it today, although there is one stain that I wasn't able to get out, given the price he paid for it he is still real happy.   The first picture is the before cleaning, the next one is after it was done.

Edit:  The top was coated with Ceramic Spray Coating.

So what does one do detail wise on an October Friday you have off with warm temperatures but it’s pouring rain outside?

    I know!

You get your car ready for winter with an Adam’s winter prep detail.

I started with a rinseless wash using Adams rinseless wash. I then followed up with Visco clay bar using Adams Pumpkin Spice Detail Spray as a clay lube. It’s a couple years old and I figured I’d use it before it went bad on me plus my wife loved the smell of the garage while grabbing fire wood and checking on my progress.

After clay bar I used the Swirl Killer 21 and Adam‘s Finishing Polish making the SS paint clean and swirl free.  I did however find a couple of spots where I had to use the PC with a 3 inch MF compounding pad followed by a 3 inch MF finishing pad to remove some junk left behind careless passers by to the SS.  I love that PC and will probably never get rid of it.

I then used Adams Surface Prep to get the paint squeaky clean and ready for coating.  The paint was then coated using Adams Paint Coating and allowed to sit overnight before i applied Adam’s Ceramic Boost to the paint coating today.   I found the coating very easy to use.  My garage was in the low to mid 60’s. Flashing was easy to see as my garage is well lit and wipe down was a breeze.  The Surface Prep  while easy to use does not have a pleasant smell.  Additionally,  I applied Paint Coating to the exhaust tips. I did this when I first got the car two years ago. It makes clean up a breeze, as in wipe down with rinseless wash or car shampoo and I’m back to CLEAN.

Today,  the tires got Adams Tire Shine and all glass, inside and out,  was cleaned with Adams glass cleaner. Interior got a quick wipe down with Adam’s Interior Detailer. The trunk was emptied of my fishing gear (6 rods, tackle box, tackle backpack, fanny pack plus assorted odds and ends.) I gave it a quick vacuum then three good sprays of Adam’s Pineapple Orchid Odor Neutralizer. All four mud flaps got Adam’s Tire Shine as well then out in the sun for some pics.

    Like a mirror...but squiggly.

Yours is rather easy to clean and you have a few options.
    1. If you have a camper and already have awning cleaner or awning soap as it is sometimes called.
    2. Adam's All Purpose Cleaner, diluted to about 20%
    3. RaggTopp cleaner is another good option
    4. Car Shampoo and good brush, but not too stiff to leave scratch marks

Once you've picked your method of cleaning, get it cleaned and let it dry.  Look for any spots that did not come clean and get the corrected.   Don't use APC full strength, it may leave a light colored patch.

Now make sure it is out of the sun.

Get your bottle of Adam's Leather Condition and apply a small amount of LC to a Red applicator and go over it in a cross hatch manner to get all the pits and valley's covered.  Let is stand a couple of minutes and then go over it with a Microfiber towel and repeat as needed to get it even.  Once you are satisfied, let it sit for a couple of hours and don't use the Surface Prep, just apply the CSC using a microfiber applicator to the tonneau cover, I split mine up in 4 sections to.  Wipe each section down as per the instructions, even through the rainbow effect may be hard to see.  Then leave it out of the sun for 4 hours and you are done.

Finally, don't forget to post pictures.

The first thing to look at is whether or not is it is clean.  There are multiple cleaning options and you need to choose the right one for the material that your tonneau cover is made from.  You can also check your manufacturers web site for their cleaning recommendations.

Once the tonneau cover is cleaned, you can use a thin coat of Adam's Leather Conditioner.  If you apply it thin and then wipe it down with a microfiber towel until it is smooth.  If there are streaks or it look uneven, that is an indication that it was dry and needs to get a second coat or even third coat.  You'll want to wait an hour or so between coats.  Once the top looks good, going over it with Ceramic Spray Coating will give you the best results and longevity.

The first picture shows the effect on the color as you can clearly see the coated dark side vs the lighter uncoated side.  The next two pictures are tonneau's that I've recently done this with and the last picture shows how the water just pushes away once you have CSC on it.

I would do one section at a time. That way if you find an application issue you only have to redo that section instead of the whole car.

    One panel at a time.

You may need to "re-wet" a panel if it dried before you were able to get to it but if you work quickly it shouldn't be a problem.
