  1. TorRed Dodge Charger R/T Premium:

I was really just looking for a bigger car as my kids get bigger, I couldn't pass up the deal they made on this '15 Charger.  Dealer was desperate to get these 15's off the lot and I couldn't pass up the deal on this car.

I didn't do a full blown write up on the detailing process as I just haven't had much time lately to document and write, but I gave it the Adam's full monty. Wash, Clay, Polish, Seal, Wax... Just wanted to share my new joy with everyone; here's the fruits of my labor:

  2. My ST has been sealed in the past, because I used to drive it daily. Now that it's a garage queen, it pretty much just collects dust.  I do a rinseless wash on it every other month, havent waxed it in over a year I think.  I pretty much start it up and drive it around the block once a week, other than that it's not even much of a weekend car...

As I'm sitting here thinking about it...

  3. You had me a Chevy SS.  My neighbor has one in red hot 2, it's not too flashy and tons of fun to drive.  It also has quite a plush interior (leather and alcantara), it has plenty of space and all the creature comforts most would need +415hp... Sign me up.  Obviously I'd love the Corvette as my #1 choice here too, but for me - with little kids - the Chevy SS is exactly what I want.  I'm actually very surprised chevy hasn't done more to push them because it truly is a great Sport Sedan.

  4. Always a good rule of thumb if you want to try a towel on your paint:

Take it to the back of the CD you aren't listening to anymore.  Wipe it along and see if any marks were left on the CD.  When you see those marks, you KNOW that will happen to your paint.

I use those towels to aid in drying out engine bays, in places where I don't even want my "good" utility towels touching, and for cleaning around the house!

Never sacrifice towel quality in hopes to saving a couple bucks.  I have been around here long enough to see some really great towel deals pop up that are more than fair to your wallet.

I can't remember the last time I used a CD.  They are pretty much all no longer in use in my house. I guess I have a lot of test subjects lol. Matter of fact, I never used the CD player in my Camaro, Veloster, or Focus ST.
