  1. He was certainly in my thoughts and prayers last night for a quick recovery, so it was great to see him back at the show today I made sure to drink much more water today too!
  2. And the party was just as crowded as our show field display. Here's a couple photos I had time to snap.
  3. It sure was busy! After using the Mini now at Chrysler Nationals and Corvettes at Carlisle, I'm thinking I will be buying one to take home with me if we have any left on Sunday I'm having a blast and I apologize if I didn't get to everyone's questions today! Dave and I were out of pocket for a bit this morning doing some runs into town for drinks and ice for the customer appreciation party and then setting up the big Detail Spray balloon and a few other things for the party, but the whole team will be back at it around 8am tomorrow morning See everyone there!
  4. I agree with Rich. Back when I had my black TBSS daily driver a few years ago, I would use Revive, BG, and Americana by hand for maintenance cleaning in between full machine polishing, because it was just too difficult to keep that truck swirl free through the winter months. It gave me great results as seen here.
  5. That's correct Mike, Dylan is moving onto a position with them. There's a discussion about it in the General Detailing section with more information: http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/29012-so-long-shine-doc-aka-dylan/ Congrats friend! We'll miss you
  6. Dead on Robert! I personally add one more small step to my process. I like to lay down a coat of Brilliant Glaze before doing my last step Patriot or Americana
  7. Very cool! It's always a blast trying new products and learning new tips and tricks
  8. My condolences. That looks like a very well maintained, beautiful ride, and one of my favorite Mustangs too, in a unique color. I use Waterless Wash or Rinseless Wash on my GTO when it has some dust on it from sitting in the garage, but when it gets dirty enough from driving I will still do a 2 bucket wash with a foam gun. I make sure to use my Master Blaster to get any pooled-up water out of mirrors, door jambs, trunk seal, lights and so on.
  9. Welcome aboard! Just curious, have you tried any other products in addition to H2O Guard & Gloss? And as others have said, any pictures of your 'Vette? What year is it?
  10. Great job with that repair! It looked pretty deep! Paint Correcting Polish has made me a "miracle worker" on several customer cars now, according to the owners of course
  11. Looking forward to helping out the team once again! I love the Carlisle shows
  12. I usually just manually change the number in the text entry box and click Update Totals because I don't ever seem to click the right spot of the X if I'm in a hurry, so this looks like a nice and user friendly improvement to the buying process Matt. It's cool with me!
  13. Dylan and Adam, if I wasn't already helping out at Chrysler Nationals at Carlisle for you that weekend, you better believe I would be there to help! Maybe we can cut me in half and send half to Ohio and half to Carlisle?
  14. Looks amazing! I'm just a bit partial to GTO's though
  15. This isn't my video, but it shows how good it flies! Pretty impressive for being mainly cardboard and duct tape https://youtu.be/p9mMHMOsfrI
  16. It should provide plenty of fun on my charity road rally with Rally North America next month. Once I start a thread for that, the reason why I made the shield will make a little more sense
  17. All credit goes to seamster at instructables.com for providing the templates and detailed steps on how to build it! http://www.instructables.com/id/Flying-Captain-America-Shield/ - One (or more) large Adam's double-wall cardboard shipping box (free with your order!) - One roll of red duct tape ($3.97) - One roll of chrome duct tape ($3.97) - One roll of blue duct tape ($3.97) - One ratchet strap from Home Depot ($3.47, or free if you have an old gym bag laying around) - One sheet of card stock to print out the PDF template pieces - Scissors to cut out the template pieces - Hot glue gun - Fine tip Sharpie to trace the patterns onto the cardboard and duct tape - Exacto knife or hobby knife (needs to be very sharp to cut the pieces perfectly) - Cutting board - Time and lots of patience!
  18. Next was cutting out the chrome arcs for the next circle section. Then I hot-glued handles onto the back from a 15-foot ratchet strap from Home Depot ($3.47). ... ... ...And the finished result... ... ... A full-scale flying Captain America Shield frisbee!
  19. Ok no more suspense... Next I put down 12 wedge shapes with the blue duct tape to form the center circle, then started putting on the star pattern.
  20. Then I covered the whole inside with chrome duct tape for more strength.
  21. Then I covered the whole front with red duct tape, making sure to lay it smooth to keep bubbles and creases out.
  22. This one will probably give away the surprise...covering the rope with red duct tape.
