  1. what about a strip wash. usually i add an oz or two of apc in with the old soap. Can this be done now with the new soap?
  2. Anyone catch the 60 mins show on how cars can be remotely hacked?
  3. wow...I never thought my sarcastic remark about Orange Peel would get this going.... but its all great info and truly highlights how difficult it is to remove OP and how thin factory paint is. Most people don't even notice it but then again many people don't even notice swirl marks. until your looking for it you don't really see it
  4. Agreed whole heartedly about the criticality of blasting off the undercarriage and wheel wells. Its bad here in CT here they don't use the rust inhibitors with the pre treating of roads here.
  5. what about a glass towel wrapped around a foam mf applicator. give you some added media to push in to those hard to reach areas
  6. yeah... if she only knew that in the last 5 years since I started this mad detail addiction that I have spent at least 5 times more on microfiber detailing towels then we have on regular bath towels.... I flirted around with the idea of a separate washer too just for towels...but she didn't like that one bit! forgot to mention too i only use the drying rack in the winter months. in the summer we have a nice long 75' clothes line. Reel em out, let em dry, reel em in, shake, fold, store With three kids at home there’s always laundry to be done. only fluffing clothes for 15 mins saves a lot of juice comparing it to 45+ for a full dry
  7. air dry for me...no dryer.... i take over the wife's clothes drying rack. First time I did it i got the look follow by "really your hanging your towels for the car to dry" When i told her yes and that there is special microfiber cleaning soap that was more she could handle...Now years later shes excepted it as the norm. shes actually folded them for me a few times
  8. no bubbles no troubles here. working great
  9. great idea...thanks for sharing
  10. IMO the products are safe. I have been using them for a few years and never gotten sick or had any reaction to them. Adam is a family man do you think he would risk his family's health and safety with the products he uses and sells not to mention risking everything thing he built with Adams Polishes. The same with his staff do you think Nick and everyone else would be using the products if they posed a health risk. The only thing I would like to see is on the bottles an other products is first aid info. Like what to do if digested or for eye contact. Different products require different methods like flushing and inducing or not inducing vomiting. Not sure if they bottles have this but if not that would suffice for me any MSDS related info.
  11. out of curiosity what would you consider professional products?
  12. Do you think maybe the reformulating and testing phases weren’t ready so it the info wasn't released yet. Would you rather have the PCP discontinued like other products and be pissed off because another product wasn't available or since it is a tested and known good working product continue to sell it and then when its improved upon then replace it with the new version? or better yet. shame on Adam for making products better and improving. how dare he work to test and roll out a new formula that’s better. hmmm... sales figures thats it...gotta be.. they are hurting for money...hello!!!! anyone there lets see new distribution centers, ever expanding and improving product line. have you seen the pictures of the fedex pick ups. Not to mention the overbooked orders from the constant sales and promotions that are offered... Yeah i think its the sales figures....NOT Adams didn't stop selling the PC and Flex because of profits they stopped selling them because they are now manufactured in China. This is the company's choice to support American made products... BTW they still support the units they sold and still sell pads and accessories for both machines. All this can be learned from taking the time and reading the forum. So back on this threads topic PCP as a one step solution. This sounds interesting. Just curious was a rinsless/waterless wash done because of a lack of time at the show or because now the PCP is better at removing old wax, sealant, and other products? What indicators are there to determine if you need the finishing products?
  13. Hey Matt thanks didn't ask you for your opinion but see just like you I am allowed to make my own opinion. That's the beauty of the internet and forums. If everyone liked the same thing it be a very bland world.
  14. Sorry Andrew to each his own.... looks great from the front. but not from the back
  15. very nice...little too much tire gloss though
  16. very nice....much better than that ugly wagon thing floating around here
