    Adam's urge

That is known as "addiction". Welcome to the club.
  3. Fantastic job, Derek. I realize not everyone is a clean freak when it comes to their car, but how anone can live like that is beyond me. You earned every last cent you got for that job.
  4. Tom or Eric...I can't make it that weekend because of work. Is there a way I can make a contribution to this cause? Maybe we can challange other forum members to make a contribution as well.
  5. I know, Matt. The stuff is great!! Don't worry about not having it sooner. I didn't discover Adams until I was 57!!
  6. Really nice job, man. Car looks great.
  7. I tried 2 applications. I can tell you for sure that this trim was never treated. Thanks for the info guys. I appreciate it.
  8. In my 2-car garage, I put in 4 lighting units each with 4x4ft T8 daylight bulbs. That works very well for me. Never had a problem with them in cold weather.
  9. I spent 12 hours this weekend detailing my cousin's '03 Trailblazer. When I finished on Sunday, I started to walk around the car for my final inspection. At that time, my cousin came out of the house to "help", holding a roll of paper towels. I tried explaining to her why paper towels shouldn't be used and tried replacing them with some detail spray and a MF towel. She refused saying she always uses paper towels. Guess that's why her vehicle was just one huge swirl mark.
  10. I was detailing a 2003 Trailblazer this weekend. When I went to apply SVRT to the luggage rack rails, the SVRT seemed to just evaporate. Not on the entire rail, but a good portion of it. It was a new bottle, I shook it well before each application and it worked well on other parts of the trim. I've used it before on other vehicle's rails with no problem. I finally used In and Out Spray which took care of them. Any ideas what may have happened? Thanks in advance.
  11. Welcome, Frank. That is one fine looking machine.
  12. Chickies and Petes has a place at the airport. They make (or at least did make) a killer cheesesteak and eggs hoagie for breakfast.
  13. I hear you, man. Down to the 20's tonight!! Anyway, got my wife's cousin coming down from Scranton this weekend for me to detail her Trailblazer. Hope the weather cooperates. BTW...treat yourself to a trip to Carlisle on your birthday. Adams has a great tent there with a lotta good one-on-one help. Well worth the trip.
  14. My wife and I bought some land in the Northern Neck of VA (Heathsville). Really like it there and may retire there in a few years.
  15. Great!! 7 oclock in the morning and all I'll be thinking about today is a "cheese wit" from Pat's.
  16. I bought the rolling detail seat when it went on sale. It is the best. Comfortable cushion, sturdy and lots of space on the shelf for everything you need.
  17. ^ Thanks, Dylan. Was considering buying one to help with washing the top of my SUV. But if it's not that good for the paint, I'll just pass on it.
  18. I use the glass sealant on the windshield and Brilliant Glaze on all the other glass. Excellent results
  19. Great video, Dave. Very well done. I like the before/after shots...pretty impressive. BTW, nice company logo, too. Best of luck.
