  1. Brandi, Check out C2 Shooting Center here in town, It's on Marvin road, they offer courses for the concealed permit. I've heard some guys talk about the place, they say it's pretty good, not sure if they do rentals up there or not though. Superior Pawn also has a range and gun rentals as well as a course. I currently only have a beretta 9mm, it's a rather large gun and would not suffice as a concealed weapon...Good luck with your search!
  2. VA is an open carry state, so you can side holster it all day long, provided it's kept in plain sight.
  3. I usually waterless wash unless it's really dirty, then i'll use the bucket with some soap and the lug brush to get the dirt out, dry it, buttery wax a couple of coats and then just keep an eye on it.
  4. I just saw the daily special...grinned...clicked order, and before I knew it, the order was complete...I can't wait to try this stuff out already!
  5. I saw one of their shows in Vegas, great show! Saw Blue Man Group there too, well worth seeing them if you ever get a chance.
  6. All those not using adams, you guys should run up them, slap their hands and say "NO!" Then direct them to your tent and teach them the errors of their ways.
  7. All is well in my neck of VA Beach, just some branches down in the yard and two really dirty vehicles. Base was opened back up this morning as well, so in to work I go this evening.
  8. Things here in VA Beach are mainly just flooding and wind with rain. They are saying we will get higher wind later and then it should let up, otherwise it's just the tide everybody is watching for right now. I went to work last night for about 5 hours, not too fun to be driving in, that's for sure. Stay safe up north!
  9. No kidding! Detail party?!
  10. Looks good! Looks like great time in the summer too! You going to hit the swim platform at all? I know my uncle used to pull his over the winter and would bring it in and every couple of weeks he would hit it with teak oil. By the time summer rolled around it looked amazing! Hoping to get the boat from him in a few years and continue to show it the care he does!
  11. Brandi, I hope I don't get to meet you this weekend due to calling in for any claims. Stay safe and let me know if you need any help or anything, I'm not too far down the road, i'm off 264 at independence.
  12. I'm not sure how to respond to this one, we bought some extra food, i'm going to keg a bunch of water using my homebrew equipment, otherwise, I guess we'll see what happens. We sent some of our jets westward, and the rest went in the hangar, hopefully it just gives us some heavy rain and some wind and then moves on.
  13. I went from the black titan to a white Jetta, I haven't washed it since I bought the thing over a month ago and it still looks good! Well, the wheels have brake dust on them, but otherwise...looks good! Going to probably wash it and wax it next weekend and call it good.
  14. About to show the Van some love before winter, going to just wetsand my dent and scratches for now, going to wash it, clay it and then probably 2 coats of buttery wax, in the spring after I get the dent fixed i'll show it some PC Love. Was going to hit up a craft brew fest at the oceanfront, but the baby is running a fever for the second day, and don't really feel like taking her out and about. Hope everybody has a great day!
  15. Another 14 hour day yesterday, now to get up and prep for command mando fun, then a 4 day weekend!
  16. Went to work yesterday, left the house at 130pm, didn't get home till 630am...and now i'm up after a 5 hours of sleep and getting ready to go back in by 230pm...Have a great day everyone!
  17. Did you have brake work done recently? Possible somehing was used that dripped, or even brake fluid pooled at one point.
  18. I decided to detail the interior of the car on a whim. Leather cleaner to the whole thing, glass cleaner to the windows, instrument cluster, and stereo, then some leather and interior conditioner to the seats and all the black plastic trim. It looks great and I wish I had taken before and after pictures. Looks great though!
  19. Wow...I've heard some pretty unintelligent things/theories...But really?!
  20. I wear my FiveFingers Komodo Sport when I wash, they have just enough of an insulation/padding that when it's hot out and you get them wet your feet stay pretty cool, and if it's chilly out, your body heat will keep them nice and warm when wet.
  21. Organized some stuff in the garage, did some errands with the wif, and then I threw in a pork roast and she made saurkraut and homemade pierogies...yum...
  22. Check out the diono car seats. You are able to fit three of them across the back of a small car, and one of the safest seats available. It's a convertible seat, so you can start from 5lbs rear facing all they way up to a 120lb front facing booster. We are about to buy one for our second little one, well, our first will use that one and the new one will use the britax seat until he's a little older. I was skeptical of fitting them across like mentioned above until our friends bought a dodge grand caravan and put all three of the kids across the backseat in these things. Really nice, and you won't have to worry about a new vehicle.
  23. The ozone thing works decent, we were looking at a used Honda van that was horrible, they ran the machine for a few hours and then we came back a few days later. The scent was mostly gone, but you can tell it would have been way better had they actually cleaned the whole thing as well. I think the advice of cleaning the interior, as in pull as much of it apart as you can and clean it all really well, and then you can try the charcoal thing, headliner and seat belts are going to be a big one. It's a hard battle though. Good luck!
  24. The carwash was a success monetarily speaking...I watched kids induce so many swirls into peoples paint jobs that it wasn't even funny. One of the guys I work with and he mainly did it for the donation, then turned and asked me how much I'd charge to do his Tahoe...Light swirls, nothing too bad, but i'm thinking of doing it next month. Came home and relaxed with the wife and baby and made dinner.
