Got woken up at 430 by the baby screaming, let mama deal for a while, then I went up and took over, calmed her down, she fell asleep in my arms, laid her back down and she slept till about 930, first time i've slept past 730 in over 3 months. Pretty relaxing!

Chris, i totally feel you on the long hours, granted i'm salary and no amount of complaining will help. We just got off deployment and our average days have been 10 hour days, after the drive in and drive home it's almost a 12 hour day. Hope your situation gets better! Thursday= off work at 3pm Friday= Just sleeping in and being lazy Saturday= probably the beach or possibly the aquarium depending on weather Sunday= Washing the truck and van Monday= not sure yet, enjoying time with the wife and baby though Tuesday= back to the grind...

That Namaste is an awesome brew! I might have to stop on the way home for some of that actually.

Well, didn't get around to the engine bay, instead I waterless washed, clayed, severe swirl, swirl, polish, and buttery waxed all the random door dings and scratches all over the truck, then I cleaned out the garage, caught a Blue Tailed Skink while cleaning, and then organized and put everything away. Looks way better now!

Took the baby to the doctor this morning, she's not feeling well at all, now just chilling with the wife while she naps, then probably going to clean the engine bay of the truck and finish organizing the garage finally.

Worked yesterday, working again today, tomorrow, thursday and potentially friday. Nothing like just getting stateside and dealing with 10hour days...Hope everybody has a good day!

I spent most of my afternoon deep cleaning the new Van, the thing was filthy! Not so much anymore now though, looks good, and smells good too!

Finally got around to washing all my Microfibers, about to head to a baby appointment with the wife, then sign the loan and get the new van! I've also been told i'm going to spend my weekend polishing up the truck finally!

Looked at another van today, hopefully we can get this one, 2011 Dodge Caravan. Pretty nice and for the right price! Also got an email from Adams pertaining to my 2 broken bottles of products, the interior cleaner and my microfiber revitalizer bottles, again their customer service is just amazing!

Decided at the last minute to drive to ohio for my brothers grad party on Friday, noticed my brand new bottle of interior cleaner broke on the bottom edge of the bottle and it is all over the inside of my bin. Continued with drive, 8.5 hour drive turned into 13 hours, then again on the drive home yesterday, 13 hours later we pulled into the driveway. I don't want to work today.

Worked a 15 hour day yesterday sweating my butt off in the awesome heat with the 75% humidity unloading the ship from everything the air wing brought onboard. Now I am getting ready to go back into work again for a few hours this morning, then according to the CO and CMC, we have the rest of the time off till monday morning.

Watched the Lincoln arrive in Norfolk and got to see the rest of my squadron disembark.

I have used rustoleum's brand and it actually holds up pretty good. It's not line-x, but it's easy to do yourself. I did a few of our larger black trim pieces on the titan with it and after a year of baking in the sun it still looks like new.

We've been to multiple dealerships in our area since May, and all of them give me the same bogus story about it being a V-8, gas prices, all the same stuff. I've got it on craigslist and I have a sign on it, I think the problem I have now is that not everyone is looking for the same additions i've done to it. The wife on the other hand wants me to keep it because she loves the thing, she just won't drive it. So I think the game plan got changed on me last night and it's now trading her car for something roomier...and she still refuses to be a mini van mom. Yesterday though, worked a few hours or so in the afternoon, came home to a good dinner. Today, I get to go back to work for hopefully not too long of a day.

The problem we keep running into is that we owe too much on the truck, 25k. Because it's a gas guzzling V-8 they have problems selling them, so every dealer we look at is only willing to trade at 18.5k to 19.5k, leaving us with a giant amount to overfinance. Doesn't help that we had to use our savings over the last couple of years on moves and having a newborn. No big deal though, we'll get something better figured out.

Something I guess, the Wife isn't too thrilled about scooting around in one, but when even a 6 banger has an eco mode where 3 of the cylinders are off at cruising speeds to save even more fuel, I'm all about it.

Worked most of the day, got all the joys of investigating an incident between the back of an aircraft and a lightpole. So much fun. Then went and talked to a used car dealership about trading my truck for a honda odyssey. Not sure if this is going to work out to be affordable.

There's gotta be a way to make this only viewable to logged in forum members, I know my Titan Forum has stuff that you can only view if you pay an annual or lifetime membership fee. Not saying I want to pay to be part of another forum, but there has to be some way of making it viewable only to forum members.
