  1. I think it is an attitude the starts at the top and goes down. Adam is one of the nicest guys I know and I have yet to meet or deal with anyone representing Adam's that isn't really nice people.
  2. Sounds like your car is a lot like mine. I agree with the above comments, other then I never do a strip wash, I just don't like using anything but Adam's Shampoo to wash, besides if you are going to clay bar and use Swirl & Haze Remover and/or Revive Polish you will clean the finish. Anyway, I go over the car almost daily with Quick Detailer or if it is a bit dustier with the Waterless Wash. I buy both by the gallon so that I have a good supply on hand. One advantage I have is having an additional car to use if the weather is bad and also being retired means that I normally don't have to take the car out in bad weather.
  3. Just did a little searching and saw that the Adam's sticker is from Red Elk Enterprises...not sure where they are located but kudo's for their involvement with Top Fuel NHRA racing!
  4. Just watched the elimination rounds from Route 66 Dragway and was surprised when I saw a large Adam's Polishes sticker on Hilary Will's Dote Racing Top Fuel dragster. I am not sure if it was a corporate sticker or from one of Adam's dealers/distributors...but it was pretty cool to see Adam's appearing in drag racing!
  5. I agree with everyone's post here, I would only use detail spray until the paint is fully cured, and then only very carefully since this new paint may be a little easier to get swirls and scratches then paint that has aged and is cured. Also, thanks Dylan for the above post, it really helps explain the difference in products...although I have a hard time thinking of Buttery Wax as "basic" anything, it is so superior to most other products that it is head and shoulders above most other companies premium products.
  6. Good luck with the Flex, I'm anxious to hear your thoughts on it after using it. I've been considering one for some time now.
  7. I get a lot of compliments on my car but most people bail on the idea of detailing when I explain the steps it takes to keep it looking clean and shiny....most want their vehicles to look like ours with a magic bullet that they can apply and remove in 15 minutes...
  8. This is my 3rd dal, and she is the best, we rescued her as she was an abused dog from a very bad home...she is the calmest, sweetest dog. I can't believe someone could abuse this dog, honestly she is a real gentle loving dog. However, since she is 14 she does like her relaxing time, but she also loves to ride and hang out with the family.
  9. Since no one has posted one yet, here's my dog, doing her favorite activity when camping:
  10. I find that using a speargun works best, but it is a bit hard to get the vinyl filleted for cooking! lol
  11. ^My suggestion, don't apply any downward pressure when you turn off the PC just the weight of the PC and movement will work fine.
  12. I normally use this daily after driving the car to remove bugs...I hate have bug residue on the car, so this is part of my daily cleaning...WW on the front of the car. But I have found that using Quick Sealant, Brilliant Glaze, and 2 coats of Wax really makes getting bugs off a much easier job.
  13. No it doesn't remove polish or wax, it actually contains more lubricants so that you don't get swirls or scratches when using it to clean the car.
  14. I use the Waterless Wash for daily cleaning of the dust that gets on the car, spray liberally and wipe off with a clean microfiber. This is much better then using a California Duster and is cleans the car nicely when it doesn't need a full wash. However, the thing I use more of is the Quick Detailer, it will bring out more shine then the Waterless Wash, and I find myself going over the car with it after using the WW.
  15. I have found that the residue hazing will tend to come off easier using Quick Detailer rather then the WW.
  16. Same here I've only ever used one coat of sealant...either the Quick Sealant or the MSS. But I remove the haze with a spray of Quick Detailer which helps make the removal easier.
  17. If I find residue that I hadn't gotten off, I just remove it and then move on to the wax. There is no need to hit it with another coat of FMP or another coat of MSS.
  18. Where do you consider "out your way"?
  19. Only if you want the tailgate to stick out like a sore thumb. If you patch the holes and do body work the whole tailgate will have to be repainted...it's impossible to repair and paint just a small area with the clearcoat paints...then you risk the paint not being quite the match of the rest of the truck. I agree with the others put the emblem back on.
  20. I would check with the airline but I'm betting the aerosol can is a no-no, either checked or carry on.
  21. That is really great! However, after spending some time with Adam in the past, it does not surprise me. Adam really is a really nice guy and I have witnessed first hand how much he will go out of his way for people. Another reason why Adam has my loyalty.
  22. Jason, I normally will only do one wipe down with a towel before I put it in the "to be washed" pile. However, I will inspect it, and it still looks clean, I may use it again on the wheels and lower molding area of the car, or to get the bugs of the front of the vehicles.
  23. If you are only using one bucket, just be sure to rinse your wash mitt after each pass on the car, and before dipping into the wash bucket for more soap...it will take more time but will really reduce the bad stuff on and in the mitt.
  24. Just curious...not arguing with you but I would love if you would explain what you consider "using it properly"? Thanks
