Good news too - if you saw our Instagram feed today or my post on here from earlier, due to very positive response of comments, phone calls, emails, etc from everyone, we're bringing back the original red Car Shampoo in gallon size before the end of the month too!
 
Matt said we'll initially have 500 one-gallon jugs poured and we'll see how those sell to gauge whether it's something we will keep around longer.
 
To be totally honest with you, I personally love both the old red shampoo and the current blue shampoo that we offer in terms of how effective they clean and rinse, but I always had a soft spot for how good the red shampoo smells, and I suspect many others would agree with that too considering how many people I've talked to the last 2 or 3 years at Carlisle and other shows, as well as on the phones for the last year or so!

This thing kicked my butt.  I looked at it thinking "oh, its not much bigger than my 1500 Silverado." WRONG.  When you're up close to these super duty's they are a lot bigger than you think.  It was pretty much trashed, with most of the crud being dried on bugs and guts.  
 
Apparently, word got out at my wife's job that i like to detail cars and what not, so one of her co-workers wanted me to do his 2013 F-250 crew cab that he uses to go hunting a lot and i agreed, not knowing what i was getting myself up to.  All he wanted was a wash & wax so when he dropped it off at 7am i got up close and knew instantly it would require more than just a simple wash & wax.  i spent over an hour alone just claybar-ing all the chrome on the front of the truck.  I didn't completely finish until after 5pm, keep in mind i did zero correction (it didn't really need it surprisingly).  It will be a while before i do one of these again.  Well, Here's what i did..
 
- Sprayed wheels with DWC let sit for 5 min. then rinsed
- Cleaned wheels/tires again with APC then rinsed
- Sprayed half the truck with WW, let it sit for 5 min
- Used P/W to help remove bugs & dirt
- Mixed 1 oz WW & 4 oz Adam's shampoo in foam cannon.  Then it snowed
- Mixed APC in 2 bucket wash with adams shampoo 
- Clay barred windows
- Dried with DS, GW towel & master blaster sidekick
- Clay barred entire truck
- Wiped down door jams w/ WW & GW towel 
- Protection provided by QS
- Beauty provided by Patriot wax
- Wiped down wheels with DS & my reject microfiber towel
- Dressed trim with VRT then tires with VRT milk 50/50 
- Dressed wheel wells with US
- Polished all chrome including running boards with either Revive or MP#1 & drill w/ 4in pad
- Put brilliant glaze on the windows
 
I then realized i missed a few spots with guts on the front of the truck where all the chrome was.  There were a lot of places for them to hide so i grabbed some non adam's citrus based APC to get them out with success. 
 
I'm sorry but i didn't take any before pics, unfortunately.  i was crunched for time and i knew i had to hurry to get finished what needed to be done.  I did manage to snap a few afters and man, these pics do not do this truck justice.  When the owner pulled up he was speechless.  Honestly, i wasn't ready for him to leave because i wasn't done staring at it.

I've been away for a couple years for personal reasons.. used to post every day.  Crazy how things change. Anyway.  I can't believe how much Adam's has evolved.  So many more products than I remember and a triple soft towel? Oh man. Now an Adam's Polisher?? I definately like the direction this company is going personally.   You guys have been busy, great job Adam's team.  
 
Hopefully I'll get back into the groove sooner or later.  It'll be harder since I don't have a cool car or a garage anymore :/

There is none.  It may not affect the longevity so they can tell of the LPS, but the BG will still deteriorate in the same manner.
 
You may get an additional week out of the glaze if anything, although its a 2 week product max anyway.  I do not recommend this method, if some want to do it, thats their perogative.  Put your strongest layer down as a base, this would be Liquid Paint Sealant.  If you like to glaze, then do it after your bases of protection are down.
 
The notion that putting a polymer sealant  or a wax over top of a product that lasts 2 weeks and suddenly that 2 week product now lasts for 6 months like the sealant is a huge misnomer.  There is nothing to "lock in" as paint has pores and it will still breathe anyway regardless if there is a sealant or wax on top of the surface, and as the paint breathes, your protection starts to dwindle.  Even though there is sealant on top of a glaze, that glaze will still deteriorate at the same rate, I think guys get confused and think it is lasting longer because they get a ton of shine from the Sealant and do not notice the glaze deterioration because there are 2 products at work on the surface.
 
If you glaze, use it how its intended.  And if you are sealing, don't seal over other waxes or glazes, use it as a base layer of protection so you get the intended longevity.  However, feel free to top a durable sealant as needed with a lesser durable product such as G&G, Buttery, Americana, Patriot, or BG, as it will not deteriorate your base LPS layer.

i agree with the OP when I go on vacation I am not going to carry around a DSLR and bring my laptop when my phone takes wonderful pictures. If I went with an IPhone 6s plus on Verizon with 128 GB I am looking at $950.00. LG G4 & 128 GB SD & Rupes LHR 15ES Bigfoot Polisher Basics Kit from Adams would come to $950.00. Something to think about if you are getting ready to get a new IPhone 6S plus.
 
 

First smart phone I got was an iPhone, it lasted 2 months before the screen cracked with a case on it. 4 years later I'm on my second droid and its been great so far. A couple of my friends have iPhones and think they are great. Everyone is different, I don't really think that one is greater than the other depending on its use.

Ill never own another iPhone.  Way overrated and overpriced.

My little detailing squad grew by one. Our 2 1/2 year old, Michael, became a big brother today! 
 
Our little Micah joined us at 3:48pm today weighing in at 6lbs 2oz and was 17.75 inches long. 
 
Mom is doing great and recovering from the C-Section. Baby is spending the night in the NICU for observation due to some lung stuff... otherwise a happy and healthy baby boy! 

Nice ride that red will pop when it meets adams I'm sure.
