Green Machine got a reaction from Liralen in Revive Hand Polish
Revive can be used for almost anything IMO. I have used it to remove water spots and stupid scratches due to finger nails to small scuffs from another cars bumper. All it takes is a little elbow grease. ✌. It is a must have in your ADAMS collection. My 2nd favorite product after H20 guard and gloss.

Green Machine reacted to Dylan@RUPES in Color transfer while polishing?
I don't know the Porsche paint process as intimately as other makes, but another possibility is tinted clear.
It's not unusual for an OEM to use a pigment tinted clear as a top coat to give the paint a different dimension.

Green Machine reacted to BluedogGMC in What the heck is this on my glass???
Revive seems to be my go to product as soon as I see something that is not coming off like light water spots either on paint or glass. That stuff is amazing.

Green Machine reacted to Dylan@RUPES in Rupes mini or Flex pe8 Kompakt
^ Correct - you're comparing rotary and dual action random orbital so not really apples to apples. Both great tools, but intended for different purposes and user skill sets.
Another option is the BigFoot Nano with iBrid Technology. That would give you 2 orbital movements, plus rotary, and 2 pad size options.

Green Machine reacted to Kingsford in Rupes mini or Flex pe8 Kompakt
Depends on what you want to do I guess... They are two different types of machines. The Flex PE8 is a Rotary and the Rupes Mini is a Dual Action Polisher.
Personally I'd get the Rupes Mini as it would be easier to use.

Green Machine reacted to Ricky Bobby in Best Applicator for Liquid Paint Sealant
The microfiber applicators work fine but its easier to lay it down thin with a hex grip IMO - I've used both and prefer hex grip applicators for applying sealant - you also use less product

Green Machine reacted to Dan@Adams in New car arrived with paint issues
Hi there, for the initial damage from the white protective vinyl, did it appear as cloudy or milky in the finish? If so, this happens fairly open when cars are shipped from overseas and the material sits on the finish for a while. The protective film can cause some moisture to build up underneath the clear coat. Usually slowly heating up the clear coat with a heat gun will remove the defects. I'm surprised the dealership didn't know this. I had to do this on my GTO when I got it new in 2006, it was a very common problem with Brazen Orange, Spice Red, and Impulse Blue goats, with Spice Red looking pretty close to the color of your BRZ.

Green Machine reacted to Ford Fest in Engine Bay Help Needed
Not sure that it matters, but I won't be able to run the engine after washing it. I will only be able to blow off the excess water. I'm cleaning it while I have several parts off that is allowing me the extra access.

Green Machine reacted to Rich in Thoughts on new wheel cleaner scent
It cleans the wheels so it really doesn't matter to me what it smells like, good or bad. And Undercarriage Spray makes everything smell good so that will be what you smell the most when you do your wheel/tire area. Nice and grapey!!

Green Machine reacted to Wild2003ss in Super VRT or Tire Shine?
I sometimes use the Tire Shine as a trim dressing also. It makes everything really shinny .
I've been playing around with all the products to see what else they can be used as/for. Almost everyone of Adams products can be used as a pinch hitter in a crunch. One of many reasons I love the products.
