Of the two you listed i'd go Nikon for the better optical zoom. The last Canon P&S I had I gave away, just hated it. But much of that is personal preference.

Thanks, I was walking past a field on my way to look for some bluebirds and saw him jump out of the tree, the first shot was from a good distance away. I ended up crawling up close to him but actually had to back up as i got too close to focus. He really didn't care as long as i didn't try to take his lunch lol
 
I was using a 150-600 on a crop body and I was able to get within a few feet of him in the 45 minutes it took him to finish the last bite.

Well the question really has been answered, in this case there are three possible answers.
 
1) SVRT
2) Leather Conditioner
3) Total Interior Detailer
 
SVRT will do the job but you might not like the shine, it is really intended for exterior use anyways. And you already have some so 
 
The leather conditioner is amazing, once you try it you will be kicking yourself for waiting so long to try it. It protects and smells great but you would rather a smaller bottle for lower cost. 
 
Then there is TID, wonderful stuff and might be the best of both worlds for you. No shine and lower cost. And it smells great too.
 
Where do you live ? Maybe there is another member, or dealer, in your area who would let you try a little LC or TID

Leather Conditioner forsure, SVRT is intended for exterior use only.

Don't know but I do know that I really like mine.
