    Hi,

Has anyone used the ceramic coating kit on Matte or Satin sheen wheels?  My 2018 Challenger Scat Pack 392 Shaker has more of a satin/matte sheen on the wheels.  I'm afraid of polishing too much or using the ceramic because I don't want them gloss.  The Matte Satin look matches perfect with the matte bumblebee strip on the trunk and I want to keep it that way.

Thoughts, experiences or recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Nice Scat Pack! The wheel coating will add a little gloss. One option is to use the wheel coating just on the barrel of the wheel. I was getting a white/grayish build up on the barrel of my Hellcats wheels. After applying the wheel coating I no longer have it.

Hello. On my 1964 Impala SS windshield. Has no scratches that would catch a fingernail. I clayed and then polished with cerium oxide and rotary buffer. Took about 3 hours and came out quite well, dingy gray and wiper streaks from years about 95% gone. Then cleaned with an IPA solution I made. So, squeaky clean and as very old there are more pores in the glass than new glass. But I just want to preserve the original windshield.

So, I then did the Adams Glass Sealer and it brightened it up slightly more. My questions are:

    * Would a second application improve the sealing of the pores?

    * Aside from cleaning the wiper blades (NOS blades from 1964) with Adam's glass cleaner should I coat the blades with VRT or the Glass Sealer?

    * After application what do I clean the Adam's application pad with?

    Thanks. Doug

One coating of glass sealant would be enough. I would leave the wiper blades alone. Clean your pad with whatever detergent you use to clean your microfiber with.

Ah thanks. It's definitely 2.0 I've got then as I followed the "For use with Ceramic Coatings" instructions to the letter.

Any idea why it went wrong and/or how I rectify it?

Do you have any Adams Brillant Glaze? If you do apply that to the areas that appear smeared/streaked. Like Parad0x said less is better. I have a black truck that is coated. I use only 1 spray per panel.

What's your guys thoughts on Ceramic Spray Coating on cars that just go to car shows and back or Maybe a weekend cruise? Cars that don't see the rain unless you get caught in it. I'm thinking maybe just the wheels since none of the conventional Adams products play well with ceramic. What do you guys think? I've not purchased any ceramic coating/spray yet just used Adams paint sealant and H2O GG for sealing.

    tks dan

What kind of car do you have?

I see that the new Ceramic Spray can be used on plastic.  My question is, is there any benefit to it, does it really work well on plastic?  And does it brighten plastic up, make it black again as opposed to faded?  Such as when you add VRT to plastic.  Or is there a better method?

I used the Ceramic Spray Coating on all the plastic trim on my Hellcat. It may have made the trim slightly darker. I am really happy with the results! I would say if your plastic is faded use the Trim Restorer first followed with Spray Coating.

Was wondering which type of heaters are others using during these cold weather months in their garages. I have no type of insulation, is a 2 car garage. I was thinking of using some sort of propane solution

I have a ceiling mounted Hot Dawg propane heater. The tank is outside. My garage is insulated. I have had it now going on 3 years and like it. It came with a wall mounted thermostat. I usually have it set a 55 F.

Here's the wall as of today, 15 Sep 18, and some close-ups. Maybe you'll see yours.

Talked to Matt for a while and he told me they really appreciate the support, and especially enjoy when they find handwritten notes included in the envelope along with the sticker. Old school good stuff. :2thumbs:
