I rarely come here anymore, too busy being a dealer, and on Instagram! Anyhow, I've been using the car products indoors for years! But yeah, it's cool having dedicated products, easier to get the non car people involved in the product line.

Well, it won't be this Christmas, but we (he) are making progress, when the car lets us. The play in the rear end wasn't adjusting correctly. He took it apart and we found out some teeth on the posi unit were stripped. Not the ring or pinion. So, a new Auburn LSD unit is going in. I know, I need to get pictures off my phone, and over to photobucket. Will update here when I get a chance, but thanks for following and keeping tabs on it. I'm still happy with the shop and workmanship, so all good.

SO just an update to anyone reading this, I called my dealer Lukas at Detail Giant in Deer Park, NY, and he took care of it with no issues. He contacted me and said he'd call his person on the other end,  after a week or so he contacted me saying he had it. Mind you I could've picked it up and saved him shipping, but he insisted to send it to me to save me the time and gas. So if you're in NY and need a dealer DETAIL GIANT is the man. Thanks Lukas

I have both the cannon and gun. The cannon is cool for sure but for simplicity of use and washing. I like the gun better. No need to drag out the power washer and change tips when using the gun. I do think it's worth spending the extra money and getting the premium gun. Mostly because I tend to drop the hose nozzle when I'm done and I don't know how the standard plastic nozzle would handle it. I believe they both work equally well. The two bucket system is great, however I don't use it. If my Jeep or MDX were really dirty I probably would but I'm always cleaning them so a good rinse, foaming them wash with a mitt in a bucket with a grit guard works great for me. Good luck and welcome to the addiction.

Similar results with my 2010 Silverado. But I persisted, and after about 3 coats it quit soaking in and looks great. So even though I had kept it well nourished with VRT all those years, it took several coats of the Trim Coating to work as advertised. It's great now, just wash & go. Keep layering.

This. I use it on my coated Viper, but I also use it stand-alone on my Ram. Good stuff.

To clear up even more confusion, spray wax is so outdated, step it up a notch with some ceramic boost. Your car doesn't need to be ceramic coated, you can use Adams ceramic boost as a standalone product, for the ultimate protection on your classics.

Well that bites, and could hurt dealer perceptions in general. I don't know who your dealer is, so I can't speak direct about them. I can tell you there are many of us dealers who strive to stay current with product, priced to be competitive, and knowledgeable about our line. You might try and call your dealer and ask about the pricing.

Use the Trim Coating on Trim, not Paint Coating on Trim. The Trim Coating, I understand, has some additives to allow for a bit of flexibility of the product that the Paint Coating doesn't have. If Paint Coating is applied to trim you'll take the risk of the Coating cracking and peeling or flaking off.

The Trim Coating is great for application onto areas like you've described; those where you don't want to get Paste Wax onto.

We can't demo the Ceramic Coatings at Shows/events like those at Carlisle. The Coatings require a 24-48 hour cure time, out of the elements, as stated in the instructions.

A lot of cars now come with the lower portion of the side skirts with a rough bottom which holds a ton of dirt and road tar.  Simply put some Brilliant Glaze on an old microfiber and after just one or two wipes, it is completely gone.

Nothing all that special needed on modern vehicles. Yes, I'd cover the switch for the LED's, but everything else is pretty water tight. If there's an exposed aftermarket air filter either wrap it in plastic, or remove it and plug up the air intake tube. Common sense should lead you to not spray water directly into the alternator. Thry to not get too much water into the hood liner, they fall apart pretty easily when wet.

I spray the engine bay down with water from the hose and work my way around with Adam's new Eco All Purpose Cleaner and several brushes; Wheel, Trim & Lug-nut, and different size bottle brushes. Rinse with water from the hose. I'll blow the engine and engine bay dry with my Master Blaster on the 4hp setting or with my Side Kick; then close the hood, start the vehicle and let the heat from the engine dry the rest. When everything has sufficiently dried I'll look things over, and if needed, I'll clean any areas I've missed with Brake and Parts Cleaner, or Carb Cleaner.

I just took care of the engine/engine bay in my 2013 Chevy Malibu this past Friday with the above directions:

    Hi all,

So my beloved BMW was totaled by a 20 year old girl doing her makeup

Took the opportunity to change it up, and bought a 2017 Silverado. Loving the truck so far!

Does anything special need to be done when washing engine bay on these? I added some underhood LED lighting (can't believe they stopped adding that in trucks) so Ill have cover the switch on that I think.

    Thanks!

So I got my son in law hooked on Adam's, and let him try the Trim Coating for his 2002 F250 pickup. The truck is black and we know what a pain it is. But a 15 year old black truck??  Nightmare.
Anyhow, last weekend he took the truck apart and took the cowl off to do the ceramic trim coat on it. Here's the before and after pics.  Don't have pics of it on the truck, but it looks great!!

    This is before.

    And after.

    I'm pretty impressed .

Adam's Customer Appreciation Party Friday evening right outside the Fairgrounds. I'll have a large tent in John's front yard with tables and chairs and one of my inflatable Detail Spray balloons up; can't miss us.
Food will be from Marcello's and Adam will be there hosting the event.
    All are welcome...

A little over two weeks away and I'm ready.  Looking forward to seeing everyone this year again.  And we'll be at the party (assuming there is one).  Missed it last year.  But Adam's will be in attendance all week at the show.  Great place to stock up on all supplies.

See you all there.  My tag tells you all where I'll be parked,  big yellow tent, so stop and say hi and introduce yourselves.

One 50ml bottle was enough to do the Volvo, the Camaro, and the extremely large Magnum's roof. Next up will be my 2013 Chevy Malibu Company Car. Love this stuff!

I had no issues with the porous textured trim on the Volvo. The Trim Coating's still holding up nicely nine months later!

Expensive? Meh. What's your labor/time worth? Easier and quicker to wash and dry, heck, rain does a pretty good job of removing light dirt. I figure I won't have to do complete paint corrections on these vehicles for another couple/few years and no waxing or sealing. I'm thinking of the product this way and think it's actually pretty cheap!

Dang i didn't do anything close to that. I took distilled white vinegar sprayed it on the area and scrubbed it. Then came back with Adams carpet cleaner and scrubbed again. After that I dreamed the daylights out of the area. Hit it again with carpet cleaner and scrubbed it down then resteamed it. Finally finished it with Adams Oder Neutralizer.
The carpet is black so even with my led flashlight it looked like it was all out but kind of hard to tell. I had her stop by 2 days before and I hit it with the Oder Neutralizer and she said the sell went away for about 2 days then started to come back but it was good timing because she was coming in for me to do the actual cleaning that day.

Jump in, and I doubt you will look back. I am a serious old school wax guy, in fact Patriot was fav. But, I like first hand knowledge of every product I sell, so I decided to do my DD truck, Called a detailer I know well just to help with application. The prep is key, and we knocked out a great detail on my truck, then applied the Paint Coating. I was blown away how easy it to use.
Every time I look at my truck, or wash it I continue to be impressed. I went ahead and did my 2006 Road Glide Harley, and my 2000 Corvette, all using the same kit. Seriously, 2 cars and truck.
The trim coating is just as cool, but on my truck it did take two coats on the trim to do the trick.
I still like wax on my classic cars, but pretty much changing over to ceramics on everything else. I just don't see a down side.
There's plenty of videos everywhere, but take a look at me on IG if you're curious.
