  1. The Kindig collaboration is cool but I want to know where the accident was on Central Point road, just south of somewhere. ???
  2. Generally I reach for the tough glass towel after a road trip or on a vehicle that hasn't had the glass cleaned and sealed for some time. At Barrett Jackson Las Vegas a few weeks ago I used them a ton. We cleaned several coaches and large tow vehicles that had traveled significant distance including the Adams Polishes Freightliner Sport chassis. Spray the windshield down with aerosol glass cleaner, walk away for 5 minutes, quick shot of cleaner again and wipe bug guts/crud right off with that towel. I've used it at home on the inside of several windshields that have a film on them before wiping with Brilliant Glaze. So how that fits in to your regimen is up to you, if you find yourself working to clean glass normally then step up to the tough glass towel. It finishes down fairly well, only a count times I've had to follow it with a standard glass towel. ?
  3. Other than stepping up to a ceramic coating it sounds like you're set for the paint protection. I might add glass sealant and glass boost to that list. Easy to clean windows are very underrated in the winter in my opinion.
  4. The short handled blue brush should be used for tires, not soft enough for wheels. http://adamspolishes.com/shop/accessories/brushes/adam-s-brush-kit.html This kit is great all around for the cost. The short handled red brush is awesome!
  5. Got bored at the end of my shift, both of my Snap on boxes are ceramic coated so I wiped with Waterless wash and then topped off with Ceramic Boost.
  6. I've had good luck using a polisher with a microfiber pad and heavy correcting polish to remove spots on glass. When I polish an entire can I tend to do at least one pass on all glass.
  7. Dan Tyger is definitely a good guy, very helpful every time I talk with him!
  8. Chris said it well! It does a pretty good job, during the winter here in southern Ohio they use quite a bit of salt. My black Silverado quickly turns gray/white. I pressure wash my truck at least once a week during the winter, even if it isn't a full wash. If you were to wash every other week, I'd apply it every month or 6 weeks. The biggest thing is to have an initial coat of paint sealant down for a base layer. So lay down some Liquid Paint sealant, top it with H2O Guard & Gloss every few washes and you'll be set.
  9. I always soak down bug guts with either waterless wash(diluted rinseless) or a car shampoo water dilution and let it work while I do the rest of the car. If it dries, not going to hurt anything.
  10. I get that quite often or the old, "you're going to wash the paint off that." Lately I just put my headphones in and ignore it, sounds rude but they ignore me pretty often.
  11. Definitely worth going to anyone that can. I've been to a few Lingenfelter events and the crew there always does a top notch job. The collection is phenomenal and worth the trip itself. Wishing I could go but I'll be assisting with another Adams event Saturday!
  12. Echoing what was already said, more polish than needed can be difficult to remove, try a bit less. If you are going to use Cinishing polish, most of the time I use it right over the top of Correcting without wiping it off. If you do need to remove Correcting polish though, a shot of Detail spray or Brilliant Glaze will make it easier.
  13. Do it! I've driven out there from Cincinnati three times, wasn't just for the clinic but I was there during one.
  14. Rinseless that has been diluted to a waterless wash solution can be used or Waterless wash as it comes will work great. Waterless won't necessarily ADD shine but it will make the surface clean to reveal the shine from the coating and Boost. Normal procedure for me on a coated car is, wipe down with Waterless/Rinseless and every couple months wipe down the car with Boost after the Waterless
  15. I use Brilliant glaze all the time, it's a great for adding a ton of shine for a short period of time. Uses include glass, chrome, paint before a sealant or wax, paint after a sealant or wax, inside of the windshield to cut off that haze that can build up. Glaze has minor fillers in it to help hide minor imperfections to add to the shine. They haven't changed the name in a long time, it was called Brilliance Spray glaze I believe at one point but, that was probably 5 years ago.
  16. For quick a quick wipe down I would use waterless wash instead of a detail spray. Most detail sprays are going to have some type of carnauba in them that is there to add gloss and a small amount of protection but not hydrophobic like you normally see on a ceramic coating. Seeing the car is coated it should be about at it's peak in terms of gloss in my opinion but topping it with Boost every once in a while can add to the wow factor and have lasting results. In short, I use waterless wash for wipe down and for added gloss Boost every so often on coated cars. Hope this helps.
  17. The great smell is still there! Only improvements have been made. The new conditioner will leave behind a richer finish/color on leather or plastics and last longer than before. ????
  18. One of my friends mom was a cafeteria lady while we were in highschool and hated when we listened to that, of course we still did all the time.
  19. Sure, I slowly and evenly heated the area pushed in and about 3 inches around it. I had taken the inner fender loose and put my hand back there and starting at the outside of the dent slowly pushed it back out. You can push it out quickly but have more of a chance of seeing warping or irregularities. I've heard of people using hair dryers but that would take quite a while. The only caution needed is to not over heat the panel. I didn't polish the area then until it had cooled back down.
  20. It's definitely a money saver! Thanks! It's a good feeling for sure, thanks!
  21. Thanks! The way I see it, the worst thing that could happen is I don't fix it and it needs a bumper replaced anyways. Thanks Rich, we get along most of the time Appreciate that, I know anybody on here could handle that fix! I try most days , thanks! Thanks Chris!
  22. So, a couple months ago I helped my 16 year old brother buy his first car, 2013 Kia Rio hatch, he's currently paying me back. I helped him under the stipulation that he would take care of his car and keep up on all maintenance. He's been all over it so far, washes it once a week using all Adam's products from my stock. A week ago, about 6:30 AM Saturday going to work. Backing out of our driveway he bumped into the fire hydrant accidentally. He comes inside after work, head down and tells me what happened. I told him it's not a big deal we all make mistakes, especially when starting out driving. Just be careful in the future. Enter today, I had a little bit of free time this afternoon. Figured I should try to remove as much damage as possible. I've done this a couple times in the past with some success. Tools used: heat gun(carefully), Rupes LHR75E, heavy correction, correcting polish, 4 inch microfiber pad, orange correcting polish pad. Before After Definitely made quite a difference, not the greatest pictures but you get the idea. Unfortunately the scratches remaining are through the clear. Being plastic I'm not that worried though.
  23. I'll echo what others have said in possibly using to much and the weather conditions changing how it removes. Honestly, once I figure out what is needed to remove defects, I'll do a panel or two then go directly over the orange correction polish with finishing polish and wipe both off when done. Finishing polish has always wiped off super easy for me.
  24. I've used Revive on glass quite a bit, mostly on the outside to remove water spots, marks from bugs and sap. Not as great as Glaze on the inside but it makes a difference.

    Eclipse?

NASA recommends a shade 13-14 for viewing, which my helmet is a 13 so I'll try to watch it.
