  1. Pics didn't come out too bad. Actually stuck the camera on aperture priority for most of the time and played with some ISO settings.
  2. Here's a few pics of my results with the method I explained. Tires were scrubbed with Adams tire brush and 50%apc prior to application. Blown dry with master blaster.
  3. How much svrt are you applying? Maybe you could go thicker. I put a thick bead across the pad and use that for half the tire, then another bead for the other half. I get a pretty decent shine, but it will never compare to the silicone shine. But the svrt won't sling down the side if your car either, unlike silicone which slings everywhere.
  4. Not to mention they work great on very heavily scratched areas.

    Steam !

Seems to me like you loosen the dirt with the steam, then you drag the dirt across the surface with a microfiber. Don't know if I buy the concept of "scratch free" with that system. Plus I don't think I can get flat rate shipping on that huge piece of equipment. And I'm pretty sure I don't use 30 gallons of water to wash my car and another 30 to wash my engine. But that is a cool looking idea if you buy into it. Definitely doesn't look as fun as a foam cannon loaded with Adams shampoo!
  6. I've been in Jamaica for 5 days and one of the things I've been doing is looking at the package with the master blaster in it, in my living room (via my security cameras) and thinking I can't wait to get back and try it. Lol.
  7. Just wash your ride more often, that will keep your top clean. ;-)
  8. Detail spray doesn't have SPF and I've never used DS on my interior, but I'm assuming it would leave a bit of a shiny and slippery finish.
  9. My understanding is that gelcoat is very hard and requires lots of heat to get swirls out. Don't think you'll get great results with a pc.
  10. No prob Ryan, that's what the forums are for. My advice is to be safe and go with DWC. I've discovered that if you go too long between washes and the dust really builds up, the softer methods of GWC or SHAMPOO in a bottle mix just doesn't cut it. I've kinda switched up to using DWC every wash now unless I'm doing a touch up wash and the dust isn't bad. But with my wife's car it gets heavy quick so I'm sticking to DWC and no QS.
  11. Which camera do you like better? The 50 or the 7?
  12. Safe to assume you guys don't mist the car with detail spray after washing and before drying with the mb? I would think it would just leave ds streaked all over.
  13. Started playing with the camera last night and tonight. Bought David Busch's Canon 60D guide and read the first few chapters. Basically I'm just gonna slap it on auto and go from there. Only thing I really found useful was being able to direct the focus to near or far using the controls on the camera. Been sitting on my bed taking pics of the same pile of clothes with different settings and checking out the differences. Thx guys.
  14. I pulled the trigger today and bought one.
  15. Thx a lot for the info. I will check it all out tmrw.
  16. Hey guys just bought a Canon Rebel 60d and a 17-50 2.8 lens and a 50mm 1.8 lens for my honeymoon this week in Jamaica. I also got a UV, Polarizer, and fluorescent filter to go with it, and a lens hood. I'm very new to nice cameras and photography so any advice for its use this week for amazing pics would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
  17. The main reason I went with the black was for the wifi remote. You can control it from the app if you have a smart phone but there is a delay of a few seconds.
  18. I had a 2 and sold it to upgrade to the 3 black. Everything he said is accurate.
  19. I didn't get any on my hands but when I rubbed my hands across the door afterwards, was nice and smooth/dry.
  20. Yes sir. One 30rd in each door panel, one in the center armrest, one in the rifle, 6 more in the trunk, and several hundred extra rounds. Don't forget 3 15rd .40 cal in each door panel, 2 in my belt, 1 in the gun, and many more in the trunk. It's south fla
  21. So with one week left until my wedding, work, and crappy weather lately, I fell a little behind on detailing the cars and testing out the product. My apologies to Adams and the customers. But today I finally made time to try out the new TID. Here's my thoughts: The smell is sort of a baby powder like odor, not what most of you may be used to as far as the fruity smells of other products. But it's a clean fresh smell. The consistency is that of detail spray in my opinion. Easy to apply and easy to remove. The product levels out very easy and spreads easy as well. It seems to have the same result as LIC when tested side by side, only with a bit of a gloss which I'm assuming is the SPF. Being that it is not a heavy consistency like Leather Conditioner, it is a much quicker on and off process. I would say this is your "detail spray" for inside the car. When you don't have the time for all out cleaning and conditioning, this is your go-to product. I would say this product Is great for touch ups and quick interior cleaning. Now for the pics: I tested it first on my 2010 Ford Crown Victoria, work vehicle with 60k miles. The car gets driven about 60 hours a week, so it sees use. I also tested it on my 2008 Ford F250 Harley Davidson edition, which only gets used about twice a week. I taped off half the door. Before pic of driver door panel What I pulled off half the door with TID After one pass with TID, right side of tape After TID on right side and LI cleaner on left. After removing the tape and a second pass of TID Steering wheel before After Dash before Dash after Passenger airbag panel before After Passenger door before After F250 door before After TID on right, LiCleaner on left
  22. I have both and I would suggest the turbo stick. Jmo
