Question

Since i started using Adams products a few months ago ,my fellow friends whom we cruise with and attend carshows with make fun of me.I've bought Adams metal polish at one show then the next i bought Adams pc polisher and related polishes,At Todays show my friend Don from showandshine was there and they laughed because i got a gallon of detail spray "What on earth do you need a gallon of detail spray for ,my xxx brand lasts all summer". So now it's a big joke when we arrive at a show and Adams has a booth set up," what are you getting this time !". I got a lot of comments on my car and paint at todays show. They say "my car is shiny too and all i use is department store wax ",I don't want to put their cars down by pointing out all the swirls in their paint. I don't know what i'm trying to say here but my car looks good now that i use Adams and that is all that matters.:pc:

I would go around their car and point out each and every imperfection lol.

I did that with one of my coworkers lol, I was showing them my adams collection and how my car is shiny and swirl free and this guy started criticizing and saying stuff like what are you spending all this money for, whats wrong with pepboys, blah blah, i went to his car with a flashlight and showed all the crap he has on his paint, needless to say that shut him up.

Some really don't care.

My brother is happy using the cheap stuff, in his eyes he sees no swirles and he has plenty.

He does have somewhat of a shine but when I see it I see a big correction needed.

"it's just a car" he says.

He has two very nice cars and a Super Duty F-250 which is fairly new but in terrible shape, he brags of the shine, I at times just throw my hands in the air and give up.

Some people just don't get it... but thats OK b/c they just make your car look better by comparison.

Its like a good looking chic who has a bunch of ugly friends... she looks even better by comparison :jester:

LOL,Thats the way i look at it,Let the car and Adams product speak for themselves!

While i was wiping the car down with Adams detail spray my wife commented on how nice it smelled and a fellow walking by stopped and asked about the product,His wife said thats what they needed to use on their chevelle. So the product speaks for itself!

Man I feel you, I get annoyed easily, after a few stupid comments I would have to shut them up with facts.

I couldn't agree more. If it were me , as I was pointing out their paint issues I would follow up by telling them which Adams product they could use to correct it.

Plus, if they are using "department store mf towels" to wipe off their "department store wax" they certainly will have "department store scratches". Maybe they don't care, to each his own.

So point out the flaws in their "department store shine" vs your "Adams Shine" then I would leave it at that.

lmao

that bold/highlighted sentence would get used right there on the spot in their face.

I have no issue with pointing out problem areas on my friend's paint. I know what I use works, works the best, is Made right here in the USA, and should I have an issue, it WILL be resolved.

Have you tried to educate your friends on the value of what you use? Are they simply too ignorant to want to try and learn something new?

I was out of town today, I ran into a guy from Texas.

He has a 2010 Lexus GL450, sweet ride, I told him to come here to see what the fuss

is all about.

Just so happen that I had my PC in the RAV, he was impressed

with how well made it was.

I tell everyone, some give me what for.
