Goatluver
I noticed that the Adam's detailing cart is not longer listed on the site. Before it was listed as Temporarily Out Of Stock. Now, doesn't even appear. Will you guys offer the cart again or should I consider a different brand/option?
Team Adam's
Hey Jasin, Thanks for joining us here! Sorry about the carts being out of stock. Our carts are out for the time being and we are looking for a different solution moving forward. Stay tuned!
Goatluver
Right on. I looked at some other detail carts and the Adam's were the nicest.

Adam
While we sold a good number of these carts, the Detailing Cart first we offered is officially discontinued. There are several reasons, but mainly, we need a stronger unit. We will be releasing a replacement cart soon, however, if you need a cart immediately, we may suggest this one: http://www.amazon.com/Rubbermaid-Commercial-Structural-Service-Capacity/dp/B001F0GASU/ref=pd_bxgy_indust_img_y Made in the USA, heavy duty construction. Stay tuned for our next cart, if you can wait! AmyAtAdamsAustralia

Adam
Luxor makes a USA made 400 lb. capacity 2 or 3-shelf cart for about $80. Model STC111 Amen Frank! However, that's pretty close, if not exactly the one we sold, and the legs were compromised regularly, as were the trays.
Goatluver
That Luxor cart looks good and comes in different colors, according to the link. I contacted Thompson racing and they just sold their last three Adam's cart.
LFairbanks
If you are handy you could make your own. I have often thought about this, but really don't want a cart taking up more space in the garage. You could make it to your specifications fairly inexpensively and bomb proof.
LFairbanks
This cart looks like it would be a sweet setup. Can be configured into lots of different ways. Don't let the flat top on the cart in the Amazon link fool you. The sides will fold up to create a bin. http://www.amazon.com/Akro-Mils-30930-Plastic-Utility-capacity/dp/B00027FKQ0/ref=sr_1_235?ie=UTF8&qid=1393776220&sr=8-235&keywords=utility+cart+with+wheels http://www.akro-mils.com/Products/Material-Handling/Transport-Systems/ProCart.aspx There is a informational video link on the right hand side in the Amazon link. It is also advertised as being Made in the USA. Edited March 2, 2014 by LFairbanks

T.J.'s Auto Shine
I just purchased a cart from a local retailer and for a bottle holder I purchased a foam knee pad used for gardening and drilled a 2 1/2 hole with a hole saw and the bottle fit nice and snug inside the foam hole. The foam pad is about 2 1/2 inches think and the bottle hold great. The foam pad then sits on he top shelf of my cart and hold all my bottles. The pad was five bucks at Menards.. LFairbanks
I would of thought there would have been a third shelf options also. There is in a way. By using one of the numerous bin setups that they offer as an accessory to the cart. I can see where a "middle shelf" wouldn't really function with this cart as the corners wouldn't have any support. The nice thing IMO is there is no corner supports so it makes it easier to get in to the underside of the car without those corner post's in the way. Noticed the cart comes in two sizes. If it were me I would opt for the larger cart. Notice in the below link the dividers that you can purchase to go with the bins. Looks like it would work well to hold product and or towels. And there are several different color options available. http://www.akro-mils.com/Products/Industrial/Standard-Storage-Bins/AkroBins.aspx Or you could get something like this where it divides a bin out that you could put on the top shelf of your cart with your most used products. And use a variety of bins on the bottom to keep your variety of towels organized. Along with brushes and all the necessary items for a complete detail. http://www.akro-mils.com/Products/Industrial/Totes-Containers/Akro-Grids.aspx
eric@thompsonracing.us
I am sorry I couldn't fulfill your orders, we sold out quickly. I know Fred asked for one last time he was at the shop! We SHOULD have a few in stock again within a couple weeks. Stay tuned! Adam never ceases to provide top notch products. I know he's hard at work to find a replacement. We have an Adam's cart in our shop, for detailing, and it is a great piece! We used to run the Adam's booth @ Carlisle and Adam had a demo cart in the trailer for the shows. Carlisle was about as rough an event as you could put equipment through and that cart worked past the time I stopped doing the shows. True testament to it's durability. CMDChase
I saw one similar to Adam's at a competitors site. Difference is this one has an electrical outlet in the handle. It might be handy but at 200 bucks plus shipping it seems a little much.

ADL
Luxor makes a USA made 400 lb. capacity 2 or 3-shelf cart for about $80. Model STC111 The Luxor does, in fact, look identical in every way to the recently discontinued Adam's cart. I found them for sale at a restaurant supply here: http://www.webstaurantstore.com/black-luxor-stc111-3-tub-utility-cart-18-x-24-x-38-1-2/445STC111BK.html They are offered in a variety of tub and leg colors including the classic Adam's black and red. WHTEVO
The ones from Luxor are the exact ones that used to be sold here. I have one from Adam's and my brother has one from Luxor since at the time Adam's was out of stock. They are identical in every way and also come with the bottle holder. For anyone that wants the bottle holder separately they do sell that part alone. Great cart nonetheless. mc2hill
