Glass sealant of the inside of windshield?

Still unsure if I'm happy with the new glass towels. Have tried them numerous times and washed them a couple times now, but I always see streaks when I get the truck out in the sun. Never noticed this with the older towels. Did notice that the inside of my windshield is very grabby while cleaning it. Would it be a bad idea to use glass sealant on the inside to make it more slick?

I was very unhappy with the new towels, and traded them all away. Some people wash the inside of their windshields with Dawn, or even clay it to smooth it out.

Sealing interior glass is not recommend as it may cause issues with the defroster system.

Thank you, glad I asked first. Guess I could try to clay it to make the glass smoother but don't want to soak the leather dash with product spraying the inside windshield

From the day I bought my truck I could never get the inside of my windshield clean.Tried the clay and that fixed it.Use the glass cleaner for a clay lube not detail spray.

Put a couple of bath towels across the dash before you clay it. Then all the overspray will land on the towel....not on the leather dash.
