crowvet Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 (edited) And speaking of ugly, what were the people at Mazda thinking? They had to be drunk on rice wine in the boardrooms of Hiroshima when they approved this front end. I remember reading many years ago—it might have been the great automotive writer Ralph Stein who said it—that every car designer needs to be aware that the front of a car resembles a face, but every car designer also needs to be aware that the front of a car shouldn't look too much like a face. I'm betting this thing gets a new front end as a 2010 1/2 model <!-- / icon and title --><!-- message --> Edited March 27, 2009 by C6Bill

Marylander Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 Geeze, that color really accentuates the grin and looks awful. But the car looks pretty good from every other angle -- I saw a dark grey one on the road yesterday and really liked it.
