Team Adam's
Wow, what a trip! Great food, great friends, great cars, and great times! Had an absolute blast partying with the boys and checking out all the sights at Barrett Jackson, Gooding, & RM. There was almost too much to see this year... didn't even find time to venture to Russo & Steel. Sorry the pictures are in reverse order from when they were taken, just how they got uploaded. Enjoy! 1anonly
Looks like there were better cars at the other two auctions. I like the shot with you between the FXX and MC12. Isn't that about 3 million in two cars?

Isn't that about 3 million in two cars? Something like that... the MC12 rolled across the block with a $1million reserve, got to $990,000... bidding sputtered and that was it. Didn't stick around for the FXX, but the estimated value was $1.5-$2,000,000 I didn't see what the final selling price ended up being.
Marylander
Amazing cars. Where'd they find the original Tucker Torpedo? And what was the deal with that Cadillac El Camino thing? Was that a prototype, or just some crazy enthusiast's one-off???

Was that a prototype, or just some crazy enthusiast's one-off??? The Tucker was all original... well documented... had changed hands as recently as the 1980's for under $1500. Probably worth north of $500k even in that condition given there were only 40 ever made, and very few still surviving. It was rough, but very cool how well documented it was. The Caddy-camino was a rare custom conversion... 1 of something like 75 in the world ever made. Uglier than sin but cool in a way. Even had a carpeted golf club compartment in the bedside just behind the cab.

Actually I think there were 52 made, but I'm splitting hairs because that's still VERY few... The Tucker is one car I would LOVE to own. SOOOOOO ahead of its time. Team Adam's
Thanks Brad - I have a list of vehicles I want to see what the final bids were, I'll have to go thru and look them up. WOW!!
