The Daily Deal has been a killer for me... It's getting harder and harder to justify to my wife that we're saving money over wash centers... ...although she *has* noticed how nice the cars have been looking as compared to before.

I was a police officer for 28 years (retired as a lieutenant). I now work in public safety at a private college.

I just couldn't take the cold during the winter.... Living in the SF East Bay area and never having the temperature below 28 at the very worst (typically one or two days, at about 3am during the dead of winter) is just fine with me. Summers are typically in the high 70s to low 90s with some triple digit days here and there. Very light winds. Overall, just awesome. Of course, we're within 20 minutes each way from two of the most violent cities in the country (Oakland and Richmond), but it stays pretty mellow here.

Using my BRAND NEW MetroVac Vac-n-Blow, I vacuumed out all three cars (and the dryer vent). I'm loving this high-powered beauty. I'm looking forward to using it to dry the cars after a wash (which I may not get to today). I also fully detailed the insides of all three cars -- total interior detailer, leather & interior cleaner, carpet & upholstery cleaner, leather conditional, glass cleaner all used in various combinations across the three cars. ....And.... two-bucket washed the Camaro. LOVE the MetroVac. 4hp of blasting air is no joke.

If that was a Cal logo, it would be better, but otherwise, it looks great!

Totally a personal preference thing. I love my 36oz Detail Spray and SPC and wish I had at 36 Green Wheel Cleaner. Ah well, you have to go with the best business decision.

This is the one I use at work.... The dealship had a guy that is into photography and did this photo. I've changed a couple of things since then, but it's still a great photo.

My sons and I vacuumed and cleaned the inside of both the WRX and the Camaro today, and we cleaned the carpets/floor mats, 2-bucket washed the cars and dried them with Detail Spray. I then Brilliant Glazed the Camaro in anticipation of the Cars 'n Coffee event tomorrow at the Behring Auto Museum. There will be 14 Camaros all rolling together. If I wake up early enough tomorrow, I'll Buttery Wax the Camaro.

I can attest to this. I left it on too thickly on the matte stripes on my wife's car and it did not work out well. Once I corrected it, it was great.

Be careful.... That's how I started and now my bank account is DEEP into Adam's...
