Dylan was on a podcast today talking about his history and the Rupes machines set to debut next week.  He said they will continue to make and support the ES (current models 15 and 21) after the Mark II's are released. So if you are considering a 15ES you might grab it now as it may not get any cheaper.  If they were going to discontinue them that might be a different story.

He also said the Nano ( the ultra small new Rupes) should be available around March unless all of the Rupes employees snap them up once they are produced.  It is a hybrid and can run on battery or electricity. They can be used inside or outside of a car and you can purchase brushes with it.

I just wanted to say Thank you to the Adams team. Recently there was a Tire shine refill kit as the daily special. I had placed it in my cart and gone looking around the site to see if there was anything else I wanted to buy. There was plenty but not at that time as I had just placed an order not long before that and wanted to get in on this deal after trying out the tire shine from a mystery box. When I went to place my order the deal had expired, I was a little surprised at 9pm eastern time and had posted about it. Matt replied and told me to call in the next day and they would take care of it. Well as true to Adams great customer service I spoke with Ben and he certainly did, honored the pricing AND the shipping special. Team Adams does it again, but it doesn't end there.

I received my package about a week later (living on the east coast can stink for waiting for products) and found inside a regular 16oz unlabeled spray bottle with the kit and a note explaining that the premium bottles were on back order. Ok thank you, you explained yourself and provided a very similar product for a special deal I had NO issues with that at all. I was happy that they took the time to print out something to put in the box letting me the customer know that there had been an issue. I was happy and didnt feel the need to say anything as they had helped out so much with getting the deal to me.

Today to my surprise there is an Adams box sitting on my desk at work from yesterdays mail. I open the box and to my surprised there is a premium dilution spray bottle. Now I shouldn't be surprised this IS Adams after all and they have THE BEST customer service, but you tend to forget how great these guys are about not only attempting to make it right when there is a problem but also remembering to solve the problem when they can. I REALLY appreciate that level of customer service and am a VERY happy customer.

I love the borderless towels too. I have around 30 of the older blue (bought 25 off of another forum member about a year ago ), 4 or 5 of the borderless gray, and 2 of the borderless orange for Pumpkin Spice Detail Spray.

You can never have too many towels, right?

I prefer the borderless grey to "smear" the H2OGG and a double soft to dry and buff with.  I guess its the color coding that I like.  I have a lot of borderless towels, they are one of my favorites overall.

Yes, I have been using them mixed together in the wash cycle. I think I will rewash them like you say and see what happens.

Jake, are you using the MRB at the same time as the vinegar in the wash cycle?  Typically, the MRB would put into the detergent cup, which then gets used in the wash cycle, and then the vinegar would go into the cup label "Fabric Softener" and get used in the rinse cycle

If you put them into the wash at the same time, the vinegar will work against the MRB.

Vinegar in the rinse cycle by itself serves to help remove the detergent from the towels, and can also help remove any minerals that are leftover from your water.

Hi Jake, if the towels are linting a significant amount, it is possible that one of the towels was contaminated and then affected more towels when you washed them. You could try thoroughly cleaning out the drum of your washing machine and dryer and then going through another wash cycle, but if that doesn't work you may have to resort to boiling the problematic towels as described in the write-up above to resolve the issue.

The only towels I've ever really had minor linting issues with are some of my Glass Towels that are 4+ years old now (the old green ones), and I wash various Adam's towels together, using only Microfiber Revitalizer and Brightener in my HE washing machine.

I will point BRZN (Dave) over to this thread in the morning to see if he has any other thoughts or input - he has taught me a lot about proper microfiber care over the years

I just have to laugh at it also.  Long story short, he is a terrible mechanic (despite all of his stories about cars he fixed back in his professional days).  His garage is just a short distance up the hill from the side of my house.  He decided to take the shifter cable off his transmission (on a hill) and bumped the car into neutral and off it went (no wheel chocks, claimed the parking brake was on).  I saw the whole thing from the lawnmower, quite a scene watching him run after it lol.

The last year has brought about incredible change for both my wife and myself.  We have been incredibly blessed to each the land the jobs of our dreams, I completed three grueling years of graduate school and she starts her graduate program in a few short weeks.  We have certainly worked our tails off to elevate ourselves and make one another a better as a family.  The culmination of a lot of our hard work and a whole lot of blessings paid of this week as we bought our first home!  If you had asked us a month ago if this was in the plan so soon, we would have laughed, but divine intervention, or whatever it was, took hold and we find ourselves as first time home buyers.  The house has fantastic bones and needs just a few minor updates that are easily manageable.  Even better for me (and the sanity of my wife) it comes with an incredibly spacious two car garage with a sealed floor.  No more parking outdoors in large lots, not more navigating terrible apartment garages.  It is my own.  I can't wait to make this my personal detailing studio/workshop with fresh paint, cabinetry and organization.  Looking forward to making a big Adam's order for tools and accessories I couldn't previously justify owning with an apartment.  Sorry for the long winded rant, you guys are like a big family and thought I would share!

    Chas
