  1. nope made in Longmont colorado http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/31161-rupes-bigfoot-production-officially-starts-in-the-usa/
  2. Check out this thread http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/28734-cyclo-model-5-or-rupes-bigfoot-15mm/the swirl killer is similar to the lhr15es talked about in this thread. The difference being that the rupes will cost about 50 to 70 bucks more and it's made in the USA. Back then adams sold this tool as well so things we not as biased as they are today .
  3. Good choice . A professional level tool ,no doubt
  4. I love my cyclo. It's the smoothest polisher out there and with the two 4" pads it can get into alot of tight spaces a 6"pad cannot. The cyclo makes a good one polisher solution and can also run scrub brushes for dual duty . It's all metal construction is built to last and made in the USA.
  5. Spray water on it . Does it disappear? If it does, I would clay pcp then fpf. Maybe even wetsand if nessessary
  6. http://adamspolishes.com/shop/exterior/polishing/adam-s-5-porter-cable-backing-plate.htmlhere's the link should work perfect for ya . Congrats on the new ride
  7. Adams will have a plate for your needs there 5" plate for Porter cable will, fit nicely
  8. Skp = swirls killer polisher. Groits will be much like the pc . Your hands will tingle after using it . I cannot comment on the rest of your question sorry . Read thru the thread I've voiced my opinion too many times already in this thread. If u like u can pm me
  9. The biggest thing you will gain from the swirls killer polisher is comfort the skp will also correct faster than a pc due to the larger stroke . Imo it's worth the extra money
  10. it is but it's very smooth and comfy to use and is extremely well built . It's certainly not the most powerful but it's no slouch either. It can handle anything I throw at it it just may take an extra pass to get there, which is fine because A, I'm not in a hurry ,this is a hobby for me not a business and B, because the goal for me is to leave as much clear as possible on my finish.i don't think you will regret the purchase of any polisher honestly there is just so many uses for one
  11. keep an eye on the garage sale section . Guys may sell to help finance and upgrade to a more powerful machine. The cyclo is not quick to wear out so u can get a good deal. That's how I got mine and I couldn't be happier . Gl
  12. I have only recently started with adams so I just have 16oz bottles now . But the plan is to buy Gallons of the stuff I use alot of and keep with the 16oz for the stuff that dosent get used as quick
  13. Just get the cyclo then. It's smooth and cannot damage a thing
  14. If only we could get double soft towels in a bath sheet lol
  15. of course I have watched every video Adams has made . They don't change my opinion of the matter . I grind no axe I just call things as I see them .I honestly like adams products but I am no fan boy. on many occasions I have recommended his stuff on many other forums even those that don't sell adams .I will also add that never once did I recommend a product here that is a competitor to adams. I will continue to use adams stuff as long as it continues to be high quality at a price that's justifiable. I've spoke my mind and I'm done now so I won't reiterate my pervious comments and go back to polishing my car lol.
  16. Made u the USA , Is a very powerful marketing tool. One that Adam has enjoyed for years and one that speaks to may people particularly to Americans .I don’t have a problem with companies selling Chinese goods, many do and it’s very often way to get a cheap knockoff version of the real thing. This is great for those that cannot afford the real McCoy because it gives them an opportunity to improve there polishing equipment from something like a Porter cable . The problem for me is that Adams sells his goods under the premise that he has a moral code ,one that doesn’t support products made in countries that don’t offer fair wages and safe working environments for their staff . If he wants to sell a polisher made in china don’t care . But imo he has to stop saying made in USA whenever possible because he has his name on the tool and chose where to have it built . I’m not saying ppl shouldn’t buy this tool or that it won’t improve people’s polishing experience ,all I’m saying is that going forward Adam should by rights change his marketing tactics , so he is not lying to his customers. Adams products are of high quality and I’m sure this new tool will be fine .he has also been quite transparent about where his stuff comes from which I respect for sure . I’m not going to stop using his stuff ,I like them as do many of his customers .
  17. I've recently bought my first set of adams towels also 2 edgeless 2 single soft 2 double soft.love love love them Soooo soft.
  18. someone from Adam's I'm sure will chime in but in general the booster is kinda like a spray wax that matches the composition of the hydrophobic properties of the coating . As the coating starts to wear off u can top off the coating with the booster thus extending it's life , just like a spray wax does for sealant . I would suspect the wash and wax to do a similar type of thing
