  1. Love my sidekick . I was fortunate to get the Adams orange one
  2. thanks for asking the questions . I was just about to make an order till I noticed the crazy shipping. I love the site tho . Nice to see all the latest and greatest on the ca site for once. Great job Adams
  3. yeah my bad I lump paint sealant and wax together as "wax"
  4. how can u not be a fan of wax? That's the protection for your paint . Polish adds shine wax just protects the shine . I strongly urge you to rethink your approach to paint care .
  5. The orange pads will have more cut for sure . What I use depends on the defect and hardness of the paint. If it's swirls I would not be using a Polish unless I had extremely soft paint. Most likely a compound then follow with the Polish to finish
  6. smell like bs to me . The Cyclo is superior to a pc in every way except price
  7. U will know when u start to Polish on it. Soft clear corrects easily but sometimes doesn't finish nice without a fine polish and pad. Hard clears are harder to correct but can sometimes be 1 stepped even with a fairly aggressive compound and still finish well
  8. I love my cyclo . It certainly get the job done . FYI the cyclo is a long throw polisher at 16mm . It was long throw before long throw was even mainstream . The cyclo may not be the most powerful but for your uses it will be perfect and it's easily the smoothist polisher out there . If u wanna have just one polisher imo it the best
  9. blob eliminator and it made by a company called Lanka
  10. they also said they would not buy from China. Things change. Now there own polisher is made in china . Your options now are buy another plate to adapt the there new pads or buy someone else's stuff.
  11. I would just dry rinseless with a towel . Use the sidekick to blow the cracks if nessessary
  12. your specs given for the rupes 15 es are incorrect is 2000-5000 opms that's right from rupes site
  13. I own an adams cyclo also. It's not over thinking ,just thinking . I'm no fan boy ,I don't just eat up what ever they dish out . If they release something ideal, great,I'll buy it if not I won't.these pads at 3.5" are not ideal . Most certainly designed with the skp in mind not any other machine. If the gap was 1/16 or 1/8 it would not be too bad but it's an inch for crying out loud
  14. Thanks man I appreciate your efforts . Feeling a little frustrated atm . 45° angle seems like more than just a little. Def less than ideal. Still the advice is appreciated just the same . Cheers
  15. I understand and respect your opinion thank you.for me a gap like that is unacceptable. I'll either have to find another manufacture to supply pads for me. Or make my cyclo a carpet scrubber and get rupes machines . In hindsight I prob should have done that in the first place . I never thought adams would make his customer base start "making things work" instead of providing the proper items for the tools sold . I realize I have a cyclo machine but,it does say adams on it. Good thing is I guess I haven't spent 1000's on adams gear so it's easy for me to switch now.
  16. Not At 3.5"they Won't. Will leave me an untouched 1" strip down the middle.
  17. Thanks guys . Clearly not made for the cyclo ,very disappointing
  18. Can someone tell me what they measure across the face of the pad? Is it exactly 4"?
  19. Shane makes a good point . If u want top of the line u gotta pay for it.
  20. sounds like u need a master blaster . Maybe try some diluted rinseless for detail spray.are u using adams microfibers?
  21. I'm sure adams will have something to fit . I remember them repeatedly saying they would allways support all the tools they have sold even if it was dropped from the line up
  22. Yep leather conditioner is the best smell ever imo.
  23. wash and wax is not really a stand alone LSP, h20 g and g , wax or paint sealant should be used . Wash and wax to extend the life of the LSP
