The microfiber applicator pads can also be used to apply glaze and wax, depending on your preference.

Did my spring clean up so she was ready for this weekends show.  I just got teh new Paint Correction and Paint Finishing Polish, but I went with the Finishing Polish only as I only had a few small swirls and fine scratches on the reah hatch area.

So wash, (did not need clay), Polish , followed by a coat of Brillent Glaze, and topped of with Americana.  In and out in the engine bay along with Brillent Glaze and Americana on the chrome and painted pieces.

This is very interesting Jason. I have always heard that all that should be done to the clear coated wheels is wash and apply wax. I will have to give this a try. I'll post pictures of each phase.

Well I am a GM person, but of the three pony cars (Camaro, Mustang and Challenger) I do believe Dodge hit a home run with the new Challenger as far as the resto look goes. Nothing wrong with the Mustang or the Camaro, but of the three I do like the Challenger the best for looks.

Hey Jack, thanks for checking out the pinned topics on storage!  They refer more to long-term storage, so the few days that your products are in transit are usually not enough to do any kind of permanent damage as far as temperature extremes are concerned.

We do our best to try and avoid shipping out packages when bitter cold is swallowing up a large portion of the country, but as a few folks on here can attest, sometimes a shipment will show up with some frosty goods in it.

If that's the case, just let them thaw naturally at room temperature for a day or two.  Once thawed, give them a good shake.  If you don't notice any strange visual separation or floating "globs" of product, then you'll be just fine!  If you do, let us know ASAP and we'll get some new juice headed your way!

Well I place an order to resupply my stock today some gallon refills and a few incidental items as well as the combo Paint Correction and Finishing Polish. I decided I would see how it goes with my PC and then make the decision weather I go with the Flex or stick with the PC.
    Thanks for all the replies.

Hey Jack, the Pad Conditioning Brushes are currently out of stock, but should be back and ready to go tomorrow.  We'll put them back up on the site once they are inventoried and ready to rock.

And yes, a the guys mentioned, your PC will work just fine with the new polishes.  Not a dumb question at all!

The Porter Cable 7424 was tested extensively in addition to the Cylco and Flex in conjunction with the new polishes.  Although it's not available any longer through Adam's because of their (Porter Cable) business choices, Adam's realized that a large number of their current customers have a Porter Cable 7424, and wanted to make sure the new Duo would kill with it.  It does.

Yep, I still use my PC to correct the smaller areas on my cars and the new polishes worked great.  IMO, they worked 100 times better than the old ones.

Unless you can find someone in your area that has a buffer (orbital of course) I would clay the car, then hit it with Revive, followed by Brilliant Glaze and finish it with the Buttery Wax.

I would suggest that once you have your new C7, you need to invest in a complete line of Adams products to keep the C7 in show room condition.  Also look at all the videos which will help a lot on keeping it in that condition.

I have to agree with everyone else. 60-90 days seems to be the norm. Again talk to your painter he will be able to give you the correct info. Normal Adams Shampoo and water, Waterless Wash and Detail Spray would be your safest way to go.

I started a post in the General section a few days back about a complete detail I was about to start and said I would post a few pictures of the results.

I started with a complete wash using 2 oz. All Purpose Cleaner and 2 oz. of Adams Shampoo to strip the old wax (Americana). Followed by a complete clay bar (Adams of course). Then I applied Swirl & Haze Remover, followed by Fine Machine Polish, then a coat of Brilliant Glaze and finished the exterior with a coat of Americana.

I cleaned the interior with Adams leather Cleaner and then applied the Leather Conditioner a complete vacuum and polished and wax the door jambs.

The aluminum suspension components were cleaned and polished, wheel wells washed with All Purpose Cleaner and water and treated with Undercarriage Spray.

The wheels were scrubbed both front and back a coat of buttery was applied the wheels and Super VRT to the tires.

Engine bay received a cleaning with all the chrome, painted components and carbon fiber parts received a coat of Buttery wax and other areas received a coat of In & Out spray.

    So here are some pictures.

That is how I did prior to reading on here that the glaze followed by the Americana is the best way to apply it. I do use the glaze in-between waxing.
