  1. If the seam has a wide enough gap at any point I'll slide the corner of a MF towel in and then pull the towel along the length of the gap. I like the previous mention of using a soft bristle tooth brush.
  2. There's a thread about diluting products. VRT can be diluted 1:1 with water to make it sprayable. It's known around these parts as "milk". And it's awesome!! I decided to go the ultimate lazy route for a quick wheel shine and sprayed it over a dirty wheel. Looked like I just cleaned and glossed it. This stuff could make a turd shine. The only thing with spraying "milk" is it will sling if you don't let it dry.
  3. It's an absolute must for the leather conditioner!! I also prefer them on car shampoo to count pumps during a wash bucket fill.
  4. Correct. I do not need a sealed garage floor because this product beads against the water and isn't fully adhering to the panel. Hence being hydrophobic.
  5. I'm not quite sure how I would apply this. the immediate beading directly on the paint tells me this is product highly hydrophobic. So with that, what's beading when I apply the product? Is the HGG beading on top of a wet surface and falling down the panel? Why wouldn't I want a clean dry panel to ensure the HGG is adhering to the paint. I hate wasting product
  6. What makes a company a good company... Great products? Great customer support? Great marketing? Quality is no longer a comparable measure; it's an expectation, a requirement for a business to thrive. This is where Adams excels. Your products are easy to use, they work as expected, and they perform by exceeding expectations. im a friend, a father, a husband. My time is valued yet spread thin at times. Life is full of balance and measure. And the little time I choose to spend providing care to the cars I own is backed by Adams. Your products allow ease of use with incredible results. Sprays, waxes, sealants, glossifiers, etc. they all make the experience wonderful. I'm excited to continue using your products. Kudos to you!
  7. Will products like VRT, Tire Shine, or Undercarriage Spray stain concrete or asphalt? I Typically avoid spraying these products on my driveway for fear of staining, discoloring or any other adverse effects from overspray. I know the VRT can be diluted with water, but I'm curuous how soluble products like these are with water (ie. Will they wash away from rain after drying)?
  8. Two twin 2 year old girls and another on the way, I hear you brother. I'm close to indianapolis.
  9. Any tips for cleaning wheels during a rinseless or waterless cleaning? The face of my wheels have been plasti dipped but the barrels are factory clear coated. Wheels are always a PITA when it comes to doing a quick wash. I always end up breaking out a wash bucket and then I end up doing the whole car...
  10. Decided to bring my products with me to work. Wiped down, protected, and conditioned my interior on my lunch break. it was a nice mental break.
  11. Welcome to the addiction..I mean forum. Indiana, what part?
  12. The color seems to be key. Especially with the current blue design for all wash products.
  13. Plus this product comes with a pour top, not a spray. Might be hard to apply as you dry. Like the concept though. Either way....looks like it'll be making its way into my arsenal. Even if you'd presale with the above image...I'd buy it!!
  14. In my opinion, I save the wash pad for 2-bucket washes only. With a separate mit for wheels. The towel for a bucket wash would require very thorough examination and rinsing to ensure dirt isn't moving from one part of the towel to another during the rinse agitation. But if you're using a one wash bucket full of towels and you have enough to not re-use a dirty towel, then it's whatever you're comfortable with. I haven't had a chance to use Adams towels yet, but based on the reviews it seems like the waffle weave and single soft are great towels to use. The biggest thing I consider when I clean, is where's the dirt? I dont want it in my wash bucket, and I dont want any residual left on my towel or pad when I go do wipe. I clean, soft towel will not swirl, but dirt will. The only problem a towel should cause is lint, and lack of absorbing whatever you're cleaning product you're trying to remove.
  15. I tried using the Leather Conditioner as the final application on a few test panels during my last cleaning. I didn't care for the high gloss it left behind compared to the Total Interior Detailer. Nor do i want to have to keep wiping the interior until the LC gloss has subdued. TID is my preferential dash treatment product.
  16. ^^(previous page) I say it's meant to be used at full strength. That's why the crew at Adams test their products before hitting the market. If it were meant to be diluted it wouldnt come in a 16oz spray bottle. Always follow up with the leather conditioner or interior details spray to recondition the surface after cleaning.

  20. What about a despicable me minion holding a bottle of buttery wax. Another minion holding tire shine. And both of them saying "banana"? Can you tell I have kids?
  21. If your swirl marks are in the surface of the glass, this post will mean nothing. But, I do notice swirl marks depending on how I last touched my glass. I always start with a fresh microfiber towel and a little elbow grease. A towel that looks clean isn't always clean. You could be dragging latent product across the surface that leaves the hazing swirls to only be seen at night or with a foggy environment. I haven't had much experience with Adams glass cleaner. I just picked up a bottle and haven't really used enough to experience it's cleaning ability. (Distilled water in a spray bottle can go a long way as well...) A lot of cleaning products on the market will leave a haze. I also like to put a coat of wax on my windshield since I dont have any glass sealant at the moment. I would still wax my windshield over using rain-x-esque products. And as I mentioned, any residual product left behind will be noticed. I always find those nasty swirl marks when I get to work and am not able to clean them. DARN YOU PESKY SWIRLS!, DARN YOU!!!!!!!
  22. Has anyone experienced any pressure issues? If I use the nozzle provided with my foam gun the pressure is awesome. I can easily spray water 10'+ but when I use the gun I have to be within 3-4' of the surface. Some videos and images on Instagram show a strong stream of suds shooting as much as water from the nozzle. I'm curious what others are experiencing.
  23. Nice car!! Any suggestions for cleaning exhaust ports? I was hoping DWC would help cut the carbon, but my buildup is pretty gnarly.
