  1. That is pretty cool.  Just curious as to the story behind how they found you and your Biscayne?

A photographer came up to me at a large annual car show near my hometown I was attending. Said he would like to take some shots of my car. He had 2-3 magazines that he submits his photos to. Said 95% of the time one of them wants to run an article..said he would know something in 3-6 months. He Gave me his business card.He called me about 3 weeks later to set up for the photo-shoot. This mag also put it in their 2017 Calendar for March...

  2. I bet he doesn't even have his lights on. The car just reflects the stadium lights as he rounds the track...

Given your list of cars, Dan, how about some pics?

  3. Hey guys thanks for answering my question on the difference of Rinseless/Waterless. Thought it might be best to ask this question in a new thread. I'm going to dilute some of my rinseless this weekend. (16/1) I haven't used liquid paint sealent or H2O GG on 2 of my cars.. They've only been driven to a car show in my town. So they are not really dirty could probably just detail spray and be done. The last thing on them were Brilliant glaze and detail spray.

My question is can I use the diluted rinseless then spray the H2O GG on top of that then wipe them down?? I have waterless but it's the old formula btw..

    thanks in advance..

  4. subscribed for when I detail my white car....looks like G&G is the way to go for us white car guys......but in what order are you guys doing these things?  theres just so much product out there that it can get confusing on what to apply and when.

It would be nice to have a 'Sticky' of the Uses for the different products and their proper order for Garage Queens, Weekend Drivers, Daily Drivers etc....

  5. 1:30 hours for my 2 bucket wash vs 20 min rinseless wash and no set up/putting everything away required. Let me tell you that if the car qualifies for rinseless, it's gonna be rinseless.

Not sure how involved it is:

    1) just put 2oz in a bucket,

    2) let your double/triple soft soak in it for 30 sec.

    3) Wipe on panel with only 1 pass per line sorta speak (no back and forth over the same area)

    4) Use dry other double/triple soft towel to dry and done (I use great white drying towel personally)

True, I will definitely try it. Thank you AVS...I guess it just seemed alittle Unorthodox..

  6. Thanks Dan. It catches a few people off guard :)

Always liked those....Nothing like yours Rich mine is a imitation SS, 2000 suburban,I removed all the badging, put Red SS decals from a Monte Carlo on it. On the rear I added a C5 Corvette Crossflags in the center of the rear liftgate, (Had a 02 at the time). I've had a bunch of people inquire they didn't know chevy made a SS Suburban.

  7. My 06 Trailblazer has soft smooth rubber in several spots including all around the side glass. Its in good shape but not consistent in look. Could be from partial coatings of LPS, wax, detail spray, glass cleaner and of course VRT.  Who knows :)

I gave it a good scrubbing with a hex applicator and brilliant glaze and it looks as good or better than new.  It totally turned the applicator black but the rubber has a nice medium shine that is consistent.

Is there any reason not to do this?

BTW Rich dig your SS Trailblazer..

  8. Here is the video mentioned. Keep in mind this is for the concentrated Rinseless Wash, not our new Waterless Wash formula:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7dG0k0Aq-Q

After watching the video using the concentrated Rinseless it's alittle 'Involved'. I'm thinking for myself I probably don't need both. If I dilute the Rinseless it's more cost effective than Waterless as you guys mentioned and basically doing the same thing. I can see doing as the video shows from time to time with the concentrated, using indoors during a bad winter etc...Think I'll dilute some of my Rinseless and use it as Waterless. Thanks guys for all your help.
