Traded my Jeep in for a 2016 Camaro SS with the 2ss package one week ago. Dealer was want to buy our $700 sealant, I showed him a picture of my detailing cart and he said yeah you don't want that hahahaha. Paint is called mosaic black and has gold flakes in it.

So this past Saturday did my first detail on her.
Started by cleaning wheels and tires using wheel cleaner and rubber and tire cleaner. Then foam gunned the car, followed by a 2 bucket washed, then dried.

Did clay bar test with plastic bag to see how it was. I figured it would need to be clayed, but was surprised how bad it really was. Guess it makes sense sitting out in lot and transport. So clayed whole car.

Then applied paint sealant to whole car including glass, wheels. Then followed up with patriot.

To continue Dustin's inputs above, apply VRT to the plastic and rubber trim after you strip wash, and before clay, polish, etc. It'll make removing any residue a lot easier. Then, at the end, go back and touch up any necessary areas.

Ha, quoted myself. That's a first. Just want to say thanks to the Adams team for getting me the new sealant without any hassle. Great customer service. Because of their mistake I will post the old sealant bottle on the pay it forward thread and pass on the old stuff.

Totally agree on black cars... this one will be dirty tomorrow morning after spending the night in the garage.... dust happens...lol

Remember clay bar rule #1: if you drop it, put it straight in the garbage!

It's a HUGE bang for the buck for $70 on sale.
 
I use mine for following:
-blowdrying wheels and tires after washes (so I'm able to dress tires sooner)
-blowing cracks and crevices after wash obviously
-blow drying my dog after a bath with the small extension hose sold from Metro (he loves it and it's not much louder than a hair dryer and so much better on his coat)
-blow drying rubber floor mats after they are cleaned scrubbed and rinsed
-blowing out dust and random dirt of the interior before I vacuum and wipe down (gets a ton out of the interior just open the doors and blow away!)
-blow drying engine after cleaning and rinsing
 
And that's just the beginning but that's a ton of uses and value for me for a $70 investment

Darker yellow 'golden rod' color compared to the lighter yellow we've had for many, many years, strawberry banana scent, and a 'NEW' sticker will be affixed to the first several batches, just like we did with Glass Cleaner a few years back.
 
Goals for the update were for even easier removal if the product sits on the surface for a bit, more depth and shine, and added durability per application compared to the current version. I wasn't really involved much with the testing and development of this particular product, so I'll have to get any further information from Adam

Nope.  Cheap one's get a seperate load.  Every time.

What box box store are you talking about Chris, Costco, costco, Costco...there I did it now I'm in trouble oh well did you say Costco or did I? Lol anyways I wash all my towels together nobody's got time for that. The only time I separate towels are when I know they bleed (come check out t my hot pink Microfibers) or when they are heavily soiled. Yes I did
