  1. And you'll have just a fraction of usable clear left! Unless your car is a pure garage queen show car, that you're saving for 20 years to hopefully score big at Barrett-Jackson 2036, I just don't see this as a good idea.
  2. Think I've seen your Mustangs around town before! From just up the road, welcome to the community.
  3. Detail Spray is an expensive clay lube. If you have some rinseless hanging around, mix you a bottle of rinseless diluted 1:32. Makes a great clay lube and is easier on the pocket.
  4. For those of you that have the new 32oz bottles, I'm just curious how everyone is liking the sprayers they come with, especially when compared to the Tolco's on the premium dilution bottles.
  5. Dyes kind of jack with with ability of microfiber to absorb.
  6. You really do think of everything. LOL
  7. You've got Adam and Dylan on this thread. I'm sure between the manufacturer and the retailer a new backing plate will probably be sent to you. I'd almost want to send them the current backing plate and whats left of the pad so they can analyze it.
  8. I almost ALWAYS pull forward before backing the cars back up into the garage. Because of this I usually see them in my camera.
  9. I have labels on top of the sprayers of the 16oz bottles and sprayers that I still use. Everything else has migrated to the 32oz tolcos that I made custom labels for. Not sure what I'm going to do when I run out of Deep Wheel Cleaner and have to buy Wheel Cleaner.
  10. I bought one back when it was 4oz bottles. It rides in my trunk and has been perfect for touch up the tires, mid-week when I get back from lunch, fix that bird bomb, or hit the interior up while waiting on something to be ready.
  11. Surprsied that gallon of Pumpkin Spice is still sitting there.
  12. I tried this by accident one day and ever since then.... its been my go to for cleaning pads. It's AMAZING!
  13. I like how effective it is, that I use DWC 1:1 on my maintenance washes. I finally feel like I've got my wheels to a place where I'm willing to try just the shampoo regime after sealing them, and using H2O guard and gloss in between.
  14. I think the most important question everyone wants to know, is did you lay Glaze down before the Sealant?
  15. Took the words right out of my mouth! While I've never ordered a car, they've never had the one I wanted fresh on the lot. Its always in the supply chain somewhere, so I am essentially getting one thats had minimal sit time on the lot. Dan (TheWolf) just curious what your conversation with the dealer is to ensure you can take delivery without them "washing" your new car for you.
  16. Looks like someone stumbled upon on the video before it was ready to go public. LOL. I just wish they'd not use freshly detailed cars for videos to show how effective something really is.
  17. Still perfectly normal. Sometimes it just settles back at different rates.
  18. Hey Jeff, How's life going beyond the garage? How's the family doing? Whats going on at work? I ask because I can literally FEEL the stress and frustration from your posts.... I'm just wondering if maybe theres not something else going on here, and the detailing is getting some mis-directed frustration and stress? It may just be that you've got the wrong expectations for the wrong product? I know its very thin ice I'm walking on here, but have you maybe looked for a product that offers faster correction?
  19. Pretty much how I use it. And when I need to make another gallon of 1:1 I order a fresh gallon.
  20. Perfectly normal. Its the product separating. Shake vigorously before use
  21. You ok boss? I remember your original thread. If I remember right you were using products from a previous generation... The language you have chosen tonight is very personal and incendiary in nature...
  22. i still take care of our cars and when it's raining or the weather isn't right for washing or detailing, and I need some therapy, I'll go what I call "chip hunting" with my Dr. Colorchip.
  23. I keep some on hand. I go through about 1 a month it seems. The sprayers are one of the reasons I went over to the Dilution bottles. For a MUCH more durable sprayer.
