Washing Towels Together??
stripesace replied to Charger805's question in Towels, Brushes, & Accessories
Any dye or perfume free detergent will get the job done. (All Free and Clear) and wash only with other microfiber. All that being out of the way, Microfiber Revitalizer does a great job of cleaning and restoring your microfiber towels. I wash all of my microfiber towels together in one big batch unless I've got some loaded heavy with polish, and then they get their own load. -
New Wheel Cleaner Help Please
stripesace replied to ExpressThis13's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
There's a video of Adam using it for Paint Decon straight out of the bottle. I don't see why you couldnt dilute. Its not a gel, but rather a thicker liquid. -
Great white drying towel missing
stripesace replied to tjk's question in Towels, Brushes, & Accessories
I was not a big fan of the addition of the logo. I'm more accepting of it in Black and White. -
That rock chip grew, and you replaced your windshield and the windshield guys jacked up your sticker to an unrecognizable mess and threw it away. You're gunna need a new one... Only this time, be a little more assertive that you'll be putting it on.

Mystery Box With A Twist!
stripesace replied to Matt@Adams's topic in Product Polls, Feedback, and Company Input
I dunno. 1 box per customer. you get what you get. 50 option and 100 dollar option and you at least get your money back in product, the rest is up to the shipping team. -
Out of state right now but the rental car is a white Jeep Grand Cherokee with Texas plates.... Can't have anyone think this is MINE... Drop some Tire Shine from my in law inventory on the tires and trim. While I was at Walmart I picked a readily available wash and wax anywhere product to try and gave the vehicle as close to a proper waterless wash that I can give it.... I feel better.

Pressure Washer + Foam Cannon
stripesace replied to jakerodz7's question in Washing, Drying, and Decontamination
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GN53H7Y/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 this kit has the Karcher adapter. I bought the kit for the Bosch adapter. Shoot me a PM see if we can't work out a little product trade or something... -
New to Cyclo - New black truck...?
stripesace replied to PT3's question in Paint Correction & Polishing
Eye in the beholder. First, you have to know someone needs the panel and in what color. But If you picked up a hood for 30 bucks, corrected it, and sold it for 100 you come out ahead and still saved the other person almost 150 bucks. -
Larry Kosilla had a video where he went after a spot similar to this. "whats the worst I can do?" It came out looking a little better.

Tip: 2oz marks for the side of the shampoo bottle
stripesace replied to USCGRetiredJosh's question in Washing, Drying, and Decontamination
Nice idea. squeezing random shapes into the wash pad is more fun. If you buy it by the gallon, its almost not worth keeping up with. -
I need to do something to get the hot air out of my garage. Since I've insulated my garage door I've gotten a good consistent temperature in the garage, but at times the air just kind of sits. I've been struggling with what kind of fan do I put in there to get air moving.

stripesace replied to marquez93's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
Here's a theory. These bottles are injection molded. perhaps this these are pieces of the seam on the inside that have just finally broke off? -

If you don't stop, I'm going to have to be in a position to talk about the comparison here. -
Pressure Washer + Foam Cannon
stripesace replied to jakerodz7's question in Washing, Drying, and Decontamination
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GN53H7Y/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 If you want to shorten the wand on the Ryobi snag this kit. You'll want the Bosch fitting out of the kit. This will allow you to quickly twist off the longer part of the wand with the tip, and twist on your foam cannon. You may need an intermediate fitting that goes into both the twist fitting and the foam cannon. Not sure how Adams is doing their QD. -
New rubber and tire cleaner
stripesace replied to buffalobob920's topic in Product Polls, Feedback, and Company Input
I went through almost a full 16oz bottle the first time I used the product as well. And I was fairly "conservative" in my use I thought. I chalked it up to the fact that my tires were just not as clean as I thought they were despite regularly maintenance with APC. When I did my car, which gets more love than the wife's I only needed 1 pass per tire to get the same results shown in the videos. I also found the longer I let it soak, the more effective it was. -
Griot Boss g15 vs Cyclo Model 5-Pro, Mark II
stripesace replied to jsiems17's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
You wouldn't go to Wal-Mart's customer service counter to ask about Target's sales or condition of their stores? Adam's a company that sells detailing products, including polishers made by Rupes (Cyclo and Rupes models). The company who makes the polishers for which you seek information about also makes detailing products with their own branded polishers. Adam's pays for this forum for us to use free of charge to discuss the detailing products they sale. It's kind of rude to talk about a competitors product in this venue, so you're not going to get much information about those polishers. -

Flushing Power Washers?
stripesace replied to Shermanator's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
Could always buy a cheap knock off foam cannon to foam your detergent on to the house. that way you don't run any contamination risks of the detergent tank on board. -
Windshield washer fluid with Adam's products
stripesace replied to Bearet's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
I honestly, can't remember the last time I used my washer fluid on my windshield. I keep a healthy coat on Glass Sealant on my windshields. -
Review: Tire and Rubber Cleaner
stripesace replied to SYMAWD's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
The price is the only thing that will keep me from using T&RC as an APC replacement. I too use MFR on pads and applicators, have for a while. Its funny you mention your brush because I was commenting to myself last night that I don't remember my tire brush being this blue since I bought it. I'm starting to investigate other tire brushes because with the lower profile tires on my Camry, the big blue brush is a bit much. I wish they'd come out with one for smaller tires. Same for w fender brush for close fit fenders. I'll be curious to test T&RC diluted 1:1 as a maintenance tire cleaner to stretch it out, but I tend to agree that T&RC is now redundant to APC, however, the price point for an APC is very high. -
