I just got a cyclo with one of the forum members and im thinking about doing the 2 step correction on this car... But it looks like there is clear coat failure already. Any tips? Do you guys think this is clear coat failure? If it is what's the worst that could happen if i still go ahead and polish it? Besides a BIG waste of my time.

The Air Kings are great fans.  The bigger ones really move a lot of air, and they are not too loud.
 
I think it helps when mounting the fans to add some vibration isolation with rubber washers.  I mounted these with a washer-sandwich, starting at the ceiling with a steel washer, then a nylon washer to make spinning the fan easier, then a rubber washer against the mounting arm.  On the other side of the mounting arm: rubber washer, nylon washer, steel washer, lock nut.
 
To make installation easier, I used 3/8" hanger bolts, which are threaded machine bolts on one end, and lag bolt on the other end.  Installing the lag portion into a wood truss first leaves the machine threaded portion exposed for mounting with the washers and nut.

This makes me miss my black Raptor a little bit... but then I realize how much less time it takes to do a thorough detail on my white 4Runner and it makes me smile again!

If only I knew this before I bought my white one recently    it isn't so bad though as I don't hate the white one.

Dan, if you can see if they have any other colors laying around, I'd appreciate that. I'd definitely grab it from you guys. I don't have anything against white, but when I saw that orange last year, I just thought it looked much better. Anybody that says they aren't picky about color on random things, is lying lol.
 
And does it have to be Adams brand? Yes. All the rest of my stuff says Adams on it, and I'm supporting a fantastic company with great customer service, so why not.

^I agree with Dan - buy it during one of their sales for sure - also the "other retailer" you pay sales tax in probably more than half the states in the US right now - I appreciate vendors that don't have retail operations in my state so I don't have to pay more tax to the government than I already do LOL

I can ask the shipping team if we have any remaining orange or black Sidekicks in stock when they get into the office in a few minutes.
 
 
Our Sidekick is priced at $79.99, and if you grab it during a 15% off sale, that brings it down to $67.99, which is $1 less than some of the other online retailers I found just now. Metro also sells a 0.75 horsepower blower rather than the 1.3 horsepower Sidekick that looks very similar to the Sidekick, and it sells for even less, so maybe that is the one you saw?

All good ideas, thanks guys. I'll try calling Adams first and see what they suggest, then go from there.

You take a muscle car for a test drive but don't pull the trigger because it's black, and already has the dealer installed swirls, and you know it will never be clean enough, or swirl free enough to make you happy. (Wipes away a tear.)

Thanks! I picked up the Interior Detailer. I've been using lots of it recently because I wipe down my car 3-4 times a week because of dog hair lol. I have 8 gallons of product and ID wasn't one of them.

Rich, We have 2 white cats and neither have ever been in my truck, but there is plenty of cat hair in my truck, so your theory has a hole in it.

I have an all white American Bulldog which very short hair that sheds like crazy and every vehicle I have has black carpet. When I go to detail them after a road trip with the dog it is next to impossible to get the hair out. Of course I vacuum what I can I've tried a pet hair roller with out much success. It almost comes down to pulling each hair out of the carpet and feeding it to the vacuum one by one. Does anyone have a trick. I do put blankets and sheets down but her hair is magic it still gets everywhere so I'm mostly looking for advice on how to remove it not prevent it.

Great combo! Tried it on juniors Suby just out of curiosity. Left a very nice shine. Gonna have to play some more and see how long it lasts.

I hear you on that. I just picked up a used Subaru WRX a few weeks prior to the VW. And just washed, clayed and put some old MSW( thats Machine Super Wax, for those that remember Adams old stuff), just to coat it for the time being. And it looked 10x better than it did. I just got my order of goodies and am going to strip and detail it again with the new stuff.
