That’s what I call wearing the pants! HAHA
I do have a 6 year old boy. She still parks outside even when it’s -20 below. Haha

I made dinner and enjoyed it too

This is from experience, next time buy the thickest car cover you can buy, this help protect and blankets do not and they also make these little gems and this will solve your problem.
You can thank me later!

Would that work?
Also any suggestions on putting something on the side to help prevent door dings? We are having a baby any day now and the wife wants to park in the garage (not the time to tell her no lol) She will be unloading the baby and stuff in the garage. Lets just say she is not as careful as me. I was thinking carpet padding.

That’s what I call losing control of the situation haha.
That will change when you have a kid.....trust me

Wow Lanore, looking Great, keep up the good work!
My husband came to me the other day and asked if I could look at his daily driver a 2013 Chevy Avalanche Black Diamond edition, as there was a small scratch that happened at his office building. I ran my nail over the scratch and it did slightly catch, so told him it would be tough yet would try. Then after getting it in the shop, saw all the swirls/minor scratches in it, as he regrettably takes it to a car wash (they have a monthly program where he pays like $30 and can go once a day if wanted...plus free vacuums). Attached are the picture of the scratch and the after. As well, one glimpse of the rear passenger door to show the swirl/scratches from the car wash. Truck had just been washed, so before doing a panel am wiping down with waterless wash and then claying. Then I used the swirl killer with the microfiber cutting pad and the heavy correcting compound (blue). The after photos are just that, they have not had the paint correcting (orange), finishing polish (white), or LPS (grey) steps. Just working on a couple panels each evening. Should be completed this weekend. Feels really satisfying to get it looking so nice and having a mirror like finish again.

And who are you to say what people can afford?
Out of your price range?
The kit retails for $29.99 and includes the clay, the impression tool and the jar to keep it all in, the kit should be a one time purchase as the clay is also sold separately. With the coupon code Shineon you'd get 10% off taking it to $26.99, and with the often, and current, 15% sale it'd be $25.49.
When the clay wears out, you don't need the full kit, just the clay refill and it retails for $19.99, or $17.99 at 10% off or $16.99 at 15% off.
Right at the price point of other clays I can quickly find on line, pretty good value for what you're getting in my opinion...

Hello everyone, thanks for th tips!

I already suggested red, white, and blue for the whit microfiber so we can find and know which ones we are using in a hurry but it fell on deaf ears.
If we go that far, let's keep everything color coded and request green towels for the Ceramic Boost and purple for any of the Matte products. Color coded towels would also help us group the towels together for wash purposes.

That what you get for watching a high def tv
Someone needs to sent the equipment guy some Adams Matte Detailer and Protectant! Those helmets are all blotchy... lol
-
Cheese head!
Are you from somewhere around Wisconsin?

I’m concurring what was already said, to much product is just a waste of time money and effort. To take it off use a spray wax or some detail spray for a easier removal.

Time to trade the dog in. Ruff

Road Trip!!! Concurred lol
That's a trek!
If you want to split gas let me know if the next one gets announced in time.

Do not use smaller pads, the over hang can and will damage the paint, go buy a 6 inch or 6.5 inch pad or you may be asking for trouble if one little mishap happens. backing plates for the flex are $30.00 and up just depending where you buy them, a smaller one is available if that’s the route you want to take.

Damn that’s like getting caught with your pants down, I must be slipping. I honestly forgot to concur! HA
Not reading my posts anymore, Joe?!

That looks like paint from the culprit and it should come off with a little work. Have to teach the wife where to park and far away so things like this don’t happen, people just don’t care.
Two days later, she parks at the bank, comes out a half hour later and finds this.
down to the white meat, so awesome

Look at that gaming keyboard, that’s some serious stuff right there.
Just curious, is there a diff between leather conditioners that are diff color?
-
If you look to the right you will see a gallon of leather conditioner. Where did this picture come from?
I found evidence that odor neutralizer has made its way to the gallon size.
Maybe it will be for sale soon. I love that stuff and use it all the time.

You can also buy a gallon of rinseless wash dilute it to make a waterless wash to cut some costs.
While I live in the suburbs, my cars get shockingly dusty in a day, add in the fact that I work downwind from a giant preserve and I am fighting a losing battle. Is there anyway to keep them dust free? If I waterless wash often enough to keep them clean, I'll need to take a second mortgage out on the house. Any recommendations? What do you guys do to keep your cars looking nice? I almost wish I could use a california duster, but I am not willing to add swirls and scratches to be dust free for a few hours.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

What color are your cars? I use a duster all the time, is on how you use it that matters. YES I SAID IT LOL!
