jakerodz7 reacted to HFX Detailing in Blaster Sidekick...
I use it almost every wash. Gets water out of the hard spots. Dries like a dream on a clean vehicle (clay bar/waxed not long ago). If the car can sheet well, sidekick is amazing.
Not to mention, drying tires in no time to apply dressing.
It is a life saver.

Hey everyone,
My obsession with Adam's Products started last year when I had my 2013 Focus ST detailed by a buddy who swore by the stuff. Ever since then I've been obsessed with keeping my car clean. On top of that, I keep coming back to Adam's products thanks to the fact that every single product does exactly what it says it will do. Now I have built up a decent arsenal that's constantly growing, including a few recent orders for a porter cable orbital polisher (and all Adam's polishing products), Adam's foam cannon and a pressure washer as well as the very new strip wash and wash 'n wax.

Yes, I think I am on to what may be needed. In Colorado of course, mountains & fresh air.
Along with all the Adam's stuff over recent years, then Strip Wash & H2O Guard just received, now I get a message about Wash & Wax!
The sight of the Adam's logo on fresh bottles, the aroma, and the thought of what could show up next, well, it just may overcome even the best of us.
So Adam, nothing fancy, a little bed near a window for seeing the mountains, maybe a few snacks, and something to slowly wean us off the aroma & videos, then we can recover to detail another day. Of course we will pay for the rehab, in fact I'm going to call my insurance company to see if Detail / Waxing Rehab is covered.
Just a suggestion.
Thanks for listening.

jakerodz7 reacted to USCGRetiredJosh in Still skeptical about using Wheel Cleaner, look here....
So my son got his first car yesterday, a 2002 VW Passat V6 AWD, and I'm itching to go to town on this vehicle. So i decided to test one wheel with wheel cleaner. I did a little scrubbing but nothing crazy. I also did the wheel twice.
We will take the wheels off this weekend and my son will be doing some rim cleaning training.....

Yeah, when it comes to the Charger I don't like stickers on it. Unless its a great company/product and my club.

I have so many of the new style A's and that's with having them all over the place. I only have that one and an HKS one and the one on my drivers side mirror on my car. Can't do too many like I used too.

They are all placed on stuff. Heck my Aveo has one on my roof rack and the back window. I would have one on my Charger but I only do sliver decals on it.. but ill settle for white lol

jakerodz7 got a reaction from Mongosg8 in How do I properly wash the wash pad and microfiber towels?
JP,
I personally wash my pads after every use ( I have about 8 and try to use them all so it is worth washing them every time). I throw them in the washing machine with some dedicated MF cleaner such as MF Revitalizer. Then either air dry them or use the drying machine on low heat in a pinch (washing more than one car).
Same thing goes for my MF towels. I wash them once I get enough dirty for a load (I have enough to be able to wait to wash them), use the same MF cleaner and then dry them on low heat. Stay away from fabric softener is my honest opinion and stick to a cleaning solution meant for MF towels. Also no drying sheets if you do decide to use the drying machine and keep it on low heat or no heat so as to not burn the fibers.
Hope this helps!
P.s. I would not suggest washing them together, I always wash them separately.

jakerodz7 reacted to SumBeach35 in What Did You Wash, Shine, and or Polish Today
Did my first Daily driver detail with Adam's H2OGG. I of course picked a day that is windy, 85 and full sun with no shade available. Results were more than acceptable for my first time using the product considering I couldn't do it in the shade.

jakerodz7 got a reaction from H20burycharger in Rinseless Wash
Hey Jack,
Here is the direct youtube link to the video with the rinseless wash using the double soft towels.
I wouldn't say that you can't use the waffle weave towels, I would just say that the reason you want to use the double soft towels is because of the extra protection they offer courtesy of their thick/plushness. Also as mentioned in the video, because they hold a lot more liquid in them.
Hopefully this helps refresh your memory!

What wheels are those? And how difficult is it to clean out every crevice on those things?

jakerodz7 reacted to TheWolf in REVIEW: New Strip Wash
I have not smelled the final version yet. The test sample I had did not include the final scent.
You bring up a good point!
While this product is called Strip Wash, it is not just for removing sealants and waxes. It is also for cleaning off all the crud that a normal, pH balanced shampoo will not. Bugs, road grime, diesel soot....all the stuff you want to get cleaned off, without a lot of scrubbing, before you do a detail and apply fresh layers of protection.
Agreed, that's why I clayed it after the strip wash, and compared the difference in the shape of the beads.
It might, if used straight out of the bottle. Would be worth a try to see how it works on the pads.
