I started a spreadsheet last weekend. It's more of a What is it? What's it used for? What goes with what? and Use Instructions (copied from the website) kind of thing. (screenshot attached)

No worries... I'm the football loving, vintage car washing enthusiast in our house... my husband is more in to tube amps and software engineering (no need for my damaged, super-soft, still-almost-new orange towel). Still... he gave me the '65 Mustang on our wedding day... and he doesn't mind my detailing addiction... so he's a keeper for sure!

Love the finishing touches, the rounded edges of the holes, great paint job and the Adams logo (of course).

I recently purchased a detailing cart and wanted to find a solution to keep my bottles secure and prevent them from moving or tipping over.  I thought I would give it a shot and build something myself seeing as I had a specific design in mind.  Here are some details of the project...
 
Started with a heavy duty steel 3-tier cart and added the Adam's 'A' to class it up:

Added some shelf-liner to all three levels for some padding and protection:

Got a piece of wood cut-out to fit exactly on the top shelf.  Then measurements carefully drawn up to fit 21 bottles:

Cutting the holes out was easier than I expected and luckily the wood held up well:

Found this at WalMart in the cosmetic bag department last weekend. The Adams sampler bottles fit perfectly on one side, the other side holds a couple of microfiber towels. Perfect for the glove box... in case of a detail emergency!

Don't let anyone tell you, you can't get great results by hand. I often use Adam's PCP on an Orange Hex-Grip applicator followed up with Revive Hand Polish on a Blue Hex-Grip applicator to work tight areas I have trouble getting a machine into (well, not so much now that I have a Rupes Mini). The below are before and after's of a VW Jetta's C-pillar I experimented on to show what could be done by hand. It just takes a lot more time, and a lot more effort. Oh, and this clear coat paint was pretty soft.

 

Tomorrow I'll be getting my second shoulder scoped in two years to repair a torn rotator cuff. Hmm, a machine is not only quicker and requires less effort, but easier on the old body!
