  1. Stumbled on this thread and got some good laughs. I'll add one to the mix and we'll see where it goes...
  2. Hood Sunroof From inside the sunroof (Hat tip to @Captain Slow)
  3. This is commonly called "VRT milk." You'll probably still need to spread it/even it out. Plastics and engine bays are great places to use it. Think of it as an alternative to In & Out Spray.
  4. No shop. Just an average guy that likes to make cars shine. I may head up there this coming week to the HQ so I'll let you know, in case you need some help.
  5. Welcome, Eric! I've found PS and HGG work really well on white. Waxes will work, too, but don't offer the depth like on darker cars (e.g., black). Suggest you read this for more info:
  6. Did they give you a car today? If not and it was me, I'd be all over them tomorrow!
  7. Asked the same thing above...great minds think alike!
  8. Welcome, David! Where are you in CO? I'm in Colorado Springs, so if you're nearby, let me know and maybe I can help. One simplisctic way to know what you're up against is if you can catch a fingernail, the scratch likely won't come all the way out. Otherwise, the most common method to fix is start least aggressive first. Since that (FP and white foam pad) likely won't work here, you can also conskder starting with CP and orange foam pad just to see what happens, stepping up to the MF pad or HCC and pads. Here's a great article from @shane@detailedreflections to help decide which polisher(s) will work for you. I can't get this link to delete, so please disregard.

    eBay DS

    Really?! Wow, again. ?
  10. HGG can be applied dry, too (but wet towel, if that's what you meant). Guess we'll see.
  11. Well that sucks. Can't they get you a rental/reimbursement?
  12. I'm really interested to hear how this differs from DS, since it also contains carnuba. More, maybe? Seems similar, even the color.
