  1. Welcome, Vince! Beautiful car ?. And yes, black cars are a lifestyle. But nothing is better when clean and shiny. For winter prep and washes, check out these videos and the products outlined within. Those are good kits you have your eyes on, and I think you'd be happy with them. Ask any questions you have!
  2. Thank you to all who have served!
  3. No, it doesn't need to be worked in. Just a single, litht, even coat, single pass is all that's needed.
  4. Are those polish marks or sealant? Either way, just wipe clean with some APC, coating prep or 50/50 isopropyl alcohol, then reapply the sealant. Keep in mind PS down need to be "worked in" like polish. Just apply evenly around the car in one pass, slow speed (what you have now at 1.5 should be good).
  5. Sweet! So what's the smell???
  6. Welcome to the addiction, Ruben! We love pictures, so do you have any of what you're making shiny? And since this is an Adam's forum, I'll go ahead and say it...give that "other" stuff to the $40 guy, make the switch, and don't look back . What do you have on order? P.S. I long for Portillo's and Lou Malnati's!!! Maybe we can trade for a bottle of DS?! ?
  7. This forum is special. Lots of great info, and even better people. Be sure to post an intro in the New Member forum, and ask any questions you have throughout. We're all in this addiction together!
  8. Agreed, @mongoose-5oh, WW is great. And it smells sooo good! Should you ever find yourself in a pinch or looking for an alternative, RW diluted 16:1 creates a Waterless Wash-like solution at a more economical price point.
  9. @shane@detailedreflections has you covered, but here's an article that addresses more about layering, along with other great info.
  10. Together forever P.S. Was I the only one to get hungry with all the bacon, bacon ranch, ranch dressing entries??
  11. Agreed. Looking forward to reading your reviews and seeing results.
  12. Sorry, meant doing the whole car with it and charging by the hour!
  13. Went by the HQ today. The collection continues to grow, so keep sending yours in and spread the word, as well. Happy hunting! And if you sent one in, feel free to PM me a description or post here and I'll try to find it next time. Hey, Wyatt @wydetailing , just noticed yours in this pic... And lest you think I forgot, here's one for you, @Rich ?
  14. Man, imagine buying that and charging by the hour... ???? Seriously, though, that looks pretty cool. A tool with the perfectionist in mind, for sure. Thanks for sharing, Shane.
  15. Really good point, and totally agree. I retract my suggestion!
  16. Glad it'll be done soon. But man, that's a foul. Maybe they'll comp you some future service(s). Oil changes, maybe. Can't hurt to ask...since you've been asking for a week!
