Very nice color mustang! As mentioned, even new cars can come with a lot of imperfections right of the factory.
Heres what I would do:
1)Wash the car with strip wash. Regular shampoo will also do since it shouldnt really have any wax or coatings from the factory unless it was an option. Dont forget the wheels and wheel wells too.
 
2) clay the car. You can do this while you wash the car so you save yourself from using a lot of detail spray. Just use the soap water to lube the area youre going to clay and go piece by piece.
 
3)Look at the paint closely and see if it has any swirl marks. Maybe finishing polish would do the trick to clear them up and give it a perfect look. If its not that bad, you can probably use revive hand polish too. Its a great option if you dont have a machine polisher.
 
4) once the surface is pretty much perfect and free of any swirls, add paint sealant. You can also do this by hand if need be. This will give you the best protection especially for a daily driver. Actually a ceramic coating would be best, but thats another story.
 
5) once its sealed and protected, you can add a glaze to give it extra shine, or you can jump straight to the wax for more shine and protection. Both buttery wax and americana wax are great choices. Americana is more expensive and it lasts longer, but buttery is easier to apply IMO. A lot of people will recommend going straight to americana, but I dont regret starting out with buttery wax. Smells good too
 
6) lastly, apply invisible undercarriage spray, and tire shine, and VRT on all the plastic/rubber trim, and clean the windows.
 
As for maintenance, a quality microfiber towel and detail spray will help you go a long way to keeping the car looking clean without having to wash it as often.

we have been using Adam's polishes forever.  In fact My husbands car was chosen as a featured car at the Chicago Auto Show and he tells everyone his finish is not a new paint job just that it's maintained with Adam's detail spray. And I can add he has never ran his car through a car wash. A few times it was rinsed off but never a full blown wash. His cleaning routine consists of  just the pink detail spray. He swears by it and I did as well until Sunday 6/25.  My 2010 Camaro SS is my daily driver and looks pretty good due to how well it's maintained.  Well Sunday after the car was cleaned off we used H2O Guard & Gloss.  It only took a little spray a damp cloth and then a dry cloth. My husband sprayed, I wiped it around in a small area then he followed up with the dry cloth.  The shine was nothing like we've seen before.  The exterior of my car literally looks like glass.  My old car was alive again.  Here is where my testimony comes in....we washed the car on Sunday it was a little sunny so we worked rather fast so we wouldn't have to put in any extra labor.  Around 10 that night is started to down pour and that lasted for quite a bit.  The next morning the water was beaded all over my car.  My first thought was as I'm driving the spots are going to remain where the water didn't run off. Nope...there was not a single water spot.  Well it has rained every day here since Sunday night with intermittent sun.  So it's rained every day this week several times throughout the day and very hard on a few of the days.  Well.....this morning, guess what's on my car? Water beads!!!!  I'm so freaking excited at how amazing this product is.  We belong to a Camaro club and I can't praise this product enough.  Five days strong and the finish on my car still looks like glass even after the rainstorms.

My experience with fb has been rarely seeing a glimmer of worthwhile content hidden in an acre of useless garbage! 

Trust me you're not missing anything. I deleted fb months ago and it was the best thing I've ever done. I have Instagram but that's it. Facebook drama during political season did it in for me. My only regret is I hadn't deleted it years ago.

....a Christmas present. That's like giving meth as a present. The products, the process, the stress relief, the results, the pride.....it's like a healthy, albeit wallet-denting drug.

I keep Guard and Gloss on my dd, and it keeps those little PA critters from sticking as bad.  I can usually get them off just with Detail Spray.  Come to think of it, I took a drive last night and have a few to get off right now.

Just wanted to share some pictures after using H2O G&G. Every time I use this product it amazes me 10 times over. Leaves the surface super slick and shiny and protected of course.
 
P.S. that cherry air freshener is amazing and I love how it looks hanging.

Won't bore you all with some big long intro but I have been using Adam's products since about 2006! I do have a lot of products that I like, but my favorite is probably different then most people, it is the ceramic coating. I have recently ceramic coated my entire car and the wheels with Adams Coating and absolutely love it! Here are some pictures of my current car a 2016 Golf R. It does have some things done to it but nothing major, yet.   I also included some pictures of my previous cars. Thanks for looking and I guess I will post from time to time since I have been told I should! You might also recognize me in some of BRZN (Dave's) posts, I am the "Kyle" he talks about, lol! Also if you are ever out at the Carlisle, PA shows I do help out from time to time, so say hi if you see me
 

 

 
Here is the car after the wheels have been coated. The paint had been coated now for about 4-6 months now and has been holding up great!
 

 
All I use now instead of detail spray is Ceramic Boost. I know I am probably over doing it, lol, but every time I wash my car (which is every week) I dry the car off then come back and hit everything (including the wheels with ceramic boost!)

Adam's version of a goo gone. And maybe a more dedicated bug guts remover. Love bug season in Florida is beyond brutal.

Hi Chris, we offered a few different limited edition product scents last year for some holidays in addition to the Pumpkin Spice Detail Spray we've had for the last two years during Fall. One of which was the apple scented Detail Spray in a patriotic red, white, and blue themed bottle that we launched for Memorial Day.
 
I spoke with management last week to let them know that there is a demand for it again this year. I can't promise anything yet, but we'll see what happens!
