  1. Thats pretty cool, nice whip too. How did the Boost go on and come off for you? The more I read the more I hear mixed reviews. I also have a black chevy(2016 Tahoe). Just wanted some input since its probably the same paint, and Im on the fence with buying Boost.
  2. I have 3 singles 10 doubles 3 triples The triples shed and lint. And are super fluffy, but dont absorb well. Recently used for buttery wax removal, but they arent the best. Just ok with detail spray. Doubles i use for waterless wash and detail spray, they do good Use the singles for detail spray, i love the singles, super soft and fluffy, and work great. For wax removal, i prefer a traditional style microfiber, or something with hooks or loops in it, to grab that wax and pull it off (if that makes sense)
  3. Brand new in bag 10" wash pad. Looking for H2O GG or Leather Conditioner or Make offer. Please PM Thanks for looking
  4. I wait til i have a good sized load, i have about 35 paint towels, 5 wheel towels, 5 glass towels, 5 interior towels, 3 drying towels, and 2 wash mitts. So normally every 2-3 weeks, and I do a dark and a light load.
  5. Shes a cutie, part shepherd? Tonka and I wish her a speedy recovery!!
  6. I love the green liquid, I have tint all the way around, so I dont even want to keep anything in the house that could mess with that. I use the green stuff all around the house as well, it works great for me, never streaks or smears, and flashes pretty quick for a glass cleaner. In addition, most of my glass is either sealed or has brilliant glaze which aides in making quick work of the entire process.
  7. So its been at least 3-4 weeks since my last bucket wash. When i did that, i used adams tire and rubber cleaner and scrubbed them. Applied 1 coat of VRT that day. And a 2nd the next day, a touch up coat if you will. And a 3rd coat last week. The day after the 3rd coat, i drove 175 miles in 80ish degree sun. The day after that, it was hotter around 90-92, i made the same drive back home, but this time it took 6 hours instead of 3 because of a fatal wreck and rush hour traffic etc etc. So once the road opened up, the pedal went down pretty fast So im wondering if heat, direct sun, then high speeds contributed? I'll get ya some pics tomorrow if you want of the passanger side.
  8. I cleaned VRT sling, off of the driver side, (and re waxed it...buttery) took a while and then i got hungry, will do other side tomorrow. No pic of that. And yesterday i did bug guts off the front end and had to re wax it (buttery style)
  9. Good information, thanks folks!! 1 more question...can boost or H2O GG, be used as a base layer? I ask because I dont have LPS, just waxes. And I know GG wont bond well with wax. Wondering if I could possibly use GG as a base with wax over it?
  10. Yes wipe on, it hazes immediately, so then buff off. I actually did my wifes car yesterday, her car gets the residue more than mine. But they have both been treated. I wondered if wax would have the same benefit, but no one answered for me in another thread. I waxed the bathroom mirrors in the past and it seems to work
  11. Very cool!! Does it go on and buff easily? I just checked the website and video too. For some reason I always overlooked this product because hey, I dont have a ceramic coating. Haha. But as it seems, I need to place another order.
  12. I just saw that adams posted an instagram pic on Ceramic Boost and the following picture is what I pulled from the comments. Has anyone tried ceramic boost as a sealant? How does it work?
  13. VRT runs? I thought it was suppose to hold up and resist water? I'm being serious, but i did experience it gone, after i drove 60miles thru near monsoon like conditions.
  14. I 2nd the motion. I use another companies now, and im not a fan, leaves streaks and residue. I use adams detail spray afterwards, but takes a while to clean up. Edit- i wrote my reply before i read the entire thread. The soaking towel method is interesting. May try it next round. We just went to Ocean City MD, for 1 night. The day before we left, I did the entire front of my Tahoe, with Buttery Wax, the entire drive down and back(175miles each way) bugs were bombing us, more so on the shore because of the marshes and watershed areas. (Happens every year!) anyway, some bugs were on the car 48hrs, some 24hrs. And it was still a pain! Not to mention the ones stuck in crevices ???? EDIT EDIT...here it is May 19th now, i didnt do the towel soak, but just letting my diluted rinsless(16:1)sit on the bugs for 30seconds helped wipe them right away! Great stuff, and thanks to those who gave advice!!!!
  15. I shake mine daily (yea im ocd) and itll still drop about 2" in 24hrs. But as someone mentioned, interior windows, works great to avoid hazes, i use it in the bathroom on mirrors, and the front door where the dog's nose always rubs. It just makes cleaning glass easier, and my front door...you almost cant tell there is glass in it. Great product!
  16. I was never interested in it due to past experiences with other wash and waxes. Then i read a thread on it and saw a video on it, saw that it was silica and not wax. Mine is in the mail now!
  17. Good question....i rarely use it though, i dont want dirt lines and streaks. But i use to keep the orange rain x fluid in there, i have a new car now, so its just stock at the moment, i havnt used it yet, have had it since Dec.
  18. Hi yall, just checking to see if anybody ever had a shipment 'destroyed' while in transit. Im going through this right now with about a $100 order. Adam's is awesome, Dan has been great and is taking care of me. Just wondering if anybody has dealt with this. It had a few odds and ends in it and 2, 1gallon products. Not Adam's fault at all, just FED EX. I always have bad luck
  19. Yes. Normally I wont do both, but with it sitting in the rain for a few hours, i felt i needed that extra pop. And to answer the original question, i prob used about 3-4 ounces of product and 3 towels for the cleaning portion. i did hit a little bit of wet road in the country and that kicked small tiny debris up directly behind the wheels, so i used the straight stream to blast that stuff off. Very small stuff though.
  20. Clorox wipes, its easier to clean the other folks gunk up before all your stuff is in there Kitchen ware, utensils, spices, condiments, some snacks to tide you over, so you dont order pizza everyday
  21. Got stuck in a monsoon going to work today, drove home on dry roads. Performed diluted rinsless, and then detail spray on entire vehicle. Added VRT to tires and front bumper trim
