@67 Chevy I think I understand where my confusion comes in. As I said above, Adam's has been very up front. They have explained this is not graphene, but is a ceramic coating modified with reduced graphene oxide. Pure graphene will not bond to a surface, it has to be grafted onto something. The video you gave mentions it briefly at the 32:00 point about graphene oxide, and that's key for Adam's Graphene Ceramic Coating because that's what it is. There is some unreacted graphene in the bottle, that's why it's black, otherwise it would be clear, but it will not affect the coating performance.

The video @Nickfire20 posted above from Pan and Chris from B&B, who actually manufactures graphene-type coatings, is awesome and very informative. I was just about to post it, too, but he beat me to it!

Here's a link to a bit of the science, and to the SGS 10H hardness test.

Bottom line, this is the highest end consumer grade coating Adam's offers. Having applied it multiple times, I can say the results are incredible. And I'll also add they aren't bulletproof, they need to be maintained, and as always, proper prep is everything to help ensure the best results. If you're looking for the best Adam's has to offer, this is it.

To add to what Chris said, you could certainly put a layer of Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating on top of your existing coating to sort of refresh and re-up the coating; however, you will want to do a very thorough wash and Surface Prep at a minimum before applying the Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating. It's also important to note that it will not last as long on the surface since it is trying to bond to an already cured layer of ceramic coating, rather than bare clear coat. You could then maintain with Graphene Detail Spray.

To reduce some of the confusion, here are some general combinations for maintenance-type products. Keep in mind that these are not concrete, and you can try out different maintenance products to see which you like best!
Graphene Ceramic Coating and Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating will be best maintained with Graphene Detail Spray, since they're all in the graphene oxide family of products, but you can use SiO2 maintenance products like CS3 and Ceramic Boost as well with no issue. UV Ceramic Paint Coating, UV Ceramic Wheel Coating, UV Ceramic Spray Coating, Ceramic Coating Wax, and Ceramic Spray Coating will be best maintained with SiO2-based products since they're all in the SiO2 family of products. These would include CS3, Ceramic Boost, Ceramic Waterless, Ceramic Liquid Wax, Rinse + Coat, etc. Using Graphene Detail Spray would be fine as well. Paint Sealant, a synthetic sealant would be best paired with H2O Guard & Gloss, another product in the sealant family, but you could use Graphene Detail Spray and SiO2-based products too. Waxes like Americana Paste Wax, Buttery Wax, and Patriot Wax would pair best with Spray Wax or Detail Spray.  Then there are a few wildcards like Detail Spray, Slick & Slide, and Waterless Wash. Detail Spray and Slick & Slide have small amounts of polymer protection and can be paired with any of the above with nice results. For Detail Spray, keep in mind that while it will not hurt coatings, it's not necessarily the best product to use on them, and may slightly alter some of the hydrophobic behavior of coatings. Waterless Wash works excellent on any of the above as well.

Good morning. Although I’ve been detailing cars for 25-ish years, I’m still a weekend warrior. I’ve always kept my vehicles in very good condition but I decided to take yesterday and today off work and put some time into my truck. Yesterday I spent 10 1/2 hours prepping and today 5 hours applying Adam’s Graphene Ceramic Coating and wrapping up other little details.

    Products used:

    Leather conditioner
    Adams Strip Wash
    Adams large wheel woolie
    ... DA polisher
Adams white polish with white foam pad
Adams blue compound with blue pad
    Adams Detail Spray
    Adams medium clay bar
    Adams Tire and Rubber Cleaner
    Adams Surface Prep
    Adams Eco Wheel Cleaner
    Adams Graphene Ceramic Coating
    Adams coating applicator blocks (4)
Adams micro suede removal towels (4)
    Adams Tire Shine

So far, I am amazed with the outcome!! Seeing how this was my first coating ever, I chose to apply the coating in the dark using the Adams UV light supplied with the kit. I honestly don’t think this could’ve been any easier. It was very simple to keep track of my progress and what I needed to do yet. The coating went on all painted surfaces, all glass, mirrors, wheel faces and most of the black plastic on the truck. Looks incredible for almost a 4 year old truck. Let me know what you think...

Speed 5-6 would be recommended for correction.

Also what color is it, and do you have any pictures?

Sometimes the one step pad may cause some hazing, usually on darker colors it becomes more noticeable, but every vehicle and color and clearcoat are different.

Graphene Spray coating or Ceramic spray coating will do the trick, it doesn't take much product. Just spray a very little amount of product on MF towel and rub pretty hard on the high spots until you achieve the desired results.

Cleaned up the wife’s Honda fleet.

    The mini-munchkin mobile, a 2020 Odyssey

    Mega Foamed

Dried entire van except driver side with Graphene DS and ultra plush

Did the driver side with clean dry ultra plush and hit it with Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating

Also used Rinse and Coat on wheels, then Graphene DS

We got the van in June, it under went full detail/correction and Paint Coating

The Blue CRV is a 2006 (never ever garaged)

Hasn’t been corrected in 3-4 years,
Washed with mega, dried with Graphene DS and ultra plush

The graphene DS is absolutely amazing, super easy, slick, and shiny, and in some instances gives the appearance of a coating!

Yep, Nick's got it! We recommend 24 hours of cure time indoors away from any moisture or water exposure, then you can apply Ceramic Boost or Graphene Detail Spray. Then we would recommend maintaining with Ceramic Boost/Graphene Detail Spray/CS3 at least once a month.

The vehicle can get wet (rain) after 24 hours, but like Nick mentioned, I usually tell customers to wait at least 5-7 days before washing the vehicle with soap.

Covid is on the rise in my area, so we're pretty much staying home 99% of the time.  I've been taking care of the wife for the last 3 or 4 weeks (had her hip replaced) so I've been doing a lot of the cleaning, although not up to her standards.  But I was bored today, got out the mini SK and some Revive, and the Graphene DS, and went to town on the glass shower doors, and our bathroom counters.  They all turned out pretty good!  Wonder what I can do tomorrow!

I rinseless washed the SS using Adam’s Rinseless Wash. Adam’s Graphene Detail Spray was used as a drying aid on paint and wheels. Tires wiped down with rinseless solution but Adam’s Tire Armor has them looking neat and clean so I let them be.
