To answer your question (seriously).  You are invited to be a moderator.  But moderators are only invited as needed, and it takes a good while. You have to be active on the forum, make contributions to the forums, use and endorse the products, and have knowledge about how to use them properly.  As for freebies............we sometimes will get to try or test a new product before it comes out, but not always.  It depends on where we live pretty much.  I live in the northeast and my cars don't get detailed as much in the winter, so for me to test a new wax or soap is kind of pointless because I might not be able to get to it for months.  And that doesn't help anyone.  As far as I know, the moderator board is full at the moment, and most of us have been here for years.  I've been here since nearly day 1.
So if you think you want to help the forum, then make good posts, review products, write reviews, and be a contributing member.  And who knows, maybe in a year or two your turn may come.

I'm sure it does pop, but it will pop even more if you take the time to give it a good detailing despite being brand new.  You'll be amazed at the difference.

As for the interior, it depends on what you're trying to do?  I'd at the bare minimum use the Leather Conditioner on the leather surfaces.  Or if you want to go to the next step, there are companies that offer fabric/leather coatings/protection.  There's a couple we use with good results.

It all comes down to how much effort (and money) you want to put in.

First of all, congrats on the new car.  That's a beautiful car and on my radar for vehicles to own in my life.  What color did you get?

Anyway, on to your questions.  A new car doesn't negate the need for a detail.  New vehicles aren't exempt from contamination and damage, although they typically don't need as much in the way or restoration typically (there are exceptions).  The other thing you want to do is protect your new car.

Our new vehicle prep workflow looks something like this:

    -Strip wash
    -Wheels
    -Iron decontamination
    -Clay
-Polish any areas that need polishing.  This is typically accomplished with a finishing polish as it's the least aggressive of the abrasives and smooths everything for some extra gloss

And here's where there's a bunch of options...

You can seal, glaze and wax.  You can ceramic coat.  You can have paint protection film installed and then do any of those steps over it.

The PPF will be the most durable of all, but it also comes at a price that's not small.  Ceramic coatings are a similar story.  The ideal perfect world is PPF and ceramic.

Traditional sealants and waxes wear significantly faster than the other other options and need to be reapplied to have them continue to work.  If you enjoy detailing your car, it's not such a big deal.  We have a number of clients that prefer to drive their car over having it in the shop being detailed or doing it themselves.  For some, they like to maintain their finish themselves.  It comes down to what type of owner you are.  There is NO wrong answer to that question.

If you have specific questions on any of the steps, don't hesitate to ask.

Again, congrats on the new ride!

I attended Mobile Tech Expo, here in Orlando.  Friday was Education Day, and I attended 6 different classes, ranging from Microfiber 101, to beginning PDR.  One class was on the history of machine polishers, with a 50's era RUPES, several 'wax spreaders', and lots of PC's.  They also had the new RUPES rotary and gear driven polishers, and attended a class on the updated BigFoot system.
Saturday the vendor showcase opened, and I able to try out the RUPES mille gear driven polisher.  It was very smooth for a forced-rotation machine, and did not 'walk' on the body lines as bad as the Flex 3401.

Similar shape to the free-spinning random orbital machines:

But this shroud over the gears area is very different!

Yep, that's about what I got from GM too.  And my cousin's rear window on her Malibu blew out this past week too.  Culprit?  Rear window defogger.  Same as mine. Seems like these car manufacturers should be looking into these defoggers like they're looking into the air bags.  Something is wrong somewhere.

Maybe just a new wax they’re releasing. Maybe it’s Silica wax. I have some silica wax from another company and it’s great! Longevity is way better than regular waxes.

That sucks. But actually, they make a couple products for this. The Microfiber blanket to curl up in and cry, and the Ultra Plush Drying Towel for all the tears.

Don't panic just yet.  I have the MTM Hydro PF22 Foam Cannon and it is actually rated to work with pressure washers that produce between 1,100 and 5,000 PSI, with a flow rate of 1.8 to 5.3 GPM.  If I'm not mistaken, the Adams Foam Cannon is made by MTM, but is a different model. I use a Greenworks GWP2200 electric pressure washer that operates at 2200 PSI with a flow rate of 1.3 GPM at it's highest, and 100 PSI with a flow rate of 2.3 GPM at its lowest.  Those rates are dependent upon the nozzle that's being used.  With the foam cannon attached, I have to believe it operates somewhere in the 1500-1800 PSI range, based on the orifice in the cannon.  It works like a champ.  The Red Adams Foam Cannon requires a minimum rating of 870 PSI at a flow rate of 1.3 GPM. Make sure the pressure washer you are considering meets this minimum requirements and you should be fine.

Edit:  The ratings for the Black MTM Foam Canon from Adams are as follows:  1100 PSI with a flow rate of 1.8 GPM.

Just a general question. Ever thought about making the forum viewable on the Tapatalk platform. I use it for all the other dozen I use haha. It’s a nice app that makes everything super easy to navigate and you don’t have top use your browser. Thanks for the future input guys. Gotta Kill the time somehow snow on the ground outside haha.
